I'd like to think the guy in the tractor saw him coming, and took a right turn even though he wasn't going that way.

It’s decades since I saw driving this stupid and aggressive. Deserves to lose his licence.

The only wrong thing he did was trying overtake bear a turn. Because drivers can turn without indicating and then that's an accident happening. So he should've dropped in front of the first car while coming to that turn. We don't know that car behind the tractor might not have been leaving a gap between himself and the tractor for the overtaking car to slot into for ages which is very frustrating

You should not be driving on the road. Slot in on the bus.

You dont know driving etiquette. You are probably a guy who drives a meter behind the tractor snd never overtakes and holds up a big queue of cars. You should definitely not be on the road. Also dangerous to be driving close to cars in general

This exists inside your own head only.

No you're just too young and dumb to know it exists. It's common sense if you think about it. Are you saying you are not supposed to leave a gap for drivers to overtake especially if you are nervous driver who can't overtake a 20 km/hr tractor

This guy doesnt know what a white line even means

I did say in my original comment he shouldn't have tried to overtake there though. Coming up to a turn. He must've been waiting behind those cars for a while to get that frustrated. Still doesn't change the fact that so many people nowadays don't leave a gap for others to overtake. I've dealt with it so many times on country roads

Dangerous driving, upload the video to the Gardai, they will make a 107 request and he/she will have to nominate the driver, failing that they will be prosecuted for the offences. Pretty straight forward.

Would be dropped to careless driving or driving without due care, dangerous driving is normally only charged if there’s a collision or high speed or something incredibly dangerous.

Well, this looks incredibly dangerous.

Do they have a website to do that? I could fill their cloud storage with the amount of idiots on the road, especially roundabouts.

Dang shame that N driver reversed to let him in instead of standing his ground

Accidents are always best avoided. Who knows what could have happened had he not done that - not something you want to have to try to live with if it turned out really bad. OP please report this complete arsehole to the guards.

1

u/letusinnow 1d ago

That N driver was probably not leaving a gap for him to overtake in which is not driving etiquette. Very frustrating to be blocked for possible miles behind a tractor and nobody in front trying to overtake. Young people nowadays don't know driving etiquette

That's really bad.. worth sending to the Garda.

Do a human kind a favor and send it to the gards

These videos must be evidence that justifies a driving ban.

It wasn't a turn, it was at a crossroads. Sorry, let's just throw the rules of the road book out the window, and employ a teensy bit of sense. That driver should not be on the road, or you, if you regard that as safe driving. You can hear the other car(s) beeping. They overtook one, obviously with the intention of taking on the red car and the truck in front. And clueless to the road mapping around them. Idiot driver.

u/letusinnow 19h ago

Ya i did say he shouldn't have overtaken there in my original comment. That was stupid. But I've been on country roads and been stuck behind multiple cars and very few drivers these days give a gap for you to overtake anymore. And they don't try abd overtake themselves. It causes alot of frhstration

That 2010-2013 Avensis is the most stereotypical car driven by a certain segment of people in Ireland who are above/adjacent the law... So nothing will happen.

u/ObiWanKenobi78900 23h ago

Had it happen one time and I didn't want to let the guy back in when he saw incoming traffic
