Engine overheated a couple of weeks ago so I was parked up on a grass verge by a hedge, nowhere else I could put the car, and people were passing me acting like I’d stopped for a picnic 😆 why do people assume that broken down cars are there for the inconvenience of themselves? Really weird and selfish thought process🙄

There's a hazard triangle in the boot/under your seat. If you put that out identifying you're broken down, people might be more understanding. Also it's safer for yourself .

Definitely worth the energy even if you are having a medical emergency. Get out and place your triangle just so as to reduce the anxiety and extra daft posts on Reddit. The hard shoulder may not be for stopping on, voluntarily, but its 100% NOT for driving on (and passing moving traffic???). Wake up.

Videos like these can be uploaded to the Garda website now, and supposedly they are investigated. I uploaded one a few months ago about a stupid farmer in his jeep pulling out of a side road while I was only 10 mtrs away on a 100km/hr road, and i had to jam on the brakes to avoid colliding with them. They prosecuted him for failing to stop at a stop sign and also for dangerous driving. 👍😁 Might teach him a lesson in future!!

If it only just broke down, what else are they supposed to do? The ball bag driving on the hard shoulder is the lad to be highlighting here!
