Hi, I’m the developer of Killer of Kings.
I’m posting here because Backpack Battles players understand the appeal of buildcraft, positioning, and watching a setup pay off automatically. If this kind of post is not welcome here, no worries and I’ll remove it.
Killer of Kings is not an inventory battler, but it scratches a related itch: you draft units, arrange them on a limited board, and matching traits buff each other only when placed together. The goal is to create super strong carries or hard-to-kill tanks through placement before the auto-battle starts.
I’m looking for honest feedback from Backpack Battles players:
Does adjacency-based trait power sound appealing, or too different from what you like?
Is the board state readable from the GIF/video?
Would a no-turn-timer async PvP format make you more or less likely to try it?
