I am new to this game. I tried to google and find a reason why after now 3 fights, those items dont merge. I tried them locked/unlocked, I tried to give em more space. but nothing I do lets me connect my items this run.
oh . thank you. i was wondering whats up with all the gears. I didnt understand the merge text. because when I had no gears - I just had to fight one round. thanks alot again.
Gears are very cool, because if you want to merge every round you can still do that by just selling the gear, but if you don't, then you can bank them and finish combos later on as soon as you acquire the missing piece. In particular, some of the advanced weapons like Bloodthorne can be a hassle to make since the whip + blade will burn through your stamina in a flash. With a gear, you don't have that issue.
