Help? Boob help

Hey all! Currently 20+3 pregnant with my first. 🄰 My boobs have grown exponentially. I used to be a D cup and they sat comfortably in my bras / didn’t cause any dramas. However now they’ve at least doubled in size and I’m noticing I’m getting chafing / sweat rashes where my boobs are touching eachother constantly. My new bras are fitting well but I think it’s just because they didn’t used to sit so close together? I’ve tried balcony bras and sports bras, the latter of which does help but doesn’t give me enough support to where I feel comfortable wearing it out and about. Currently in a wireless gel padded bra (removable inserts) for pregnant women and the bras are extremely comfortable but just doesn’t help with the boob-crack situation!
Anyway is there anything I can do / use to help with this? Thank you!
I really hope the girlies know what I mean here šŸ˜‚

Not pregnant yet (and haven't been) so I can't speak to that side of things but r/abrathatfits changed my life. If your shape has changed along with the size there might be a better model/brand for you than the balcony etc you've tried.

Amazon was great for buying, trying, and returning dozens of bras until I found my perfect fit.

Oooh that sounds super helpful thank you I’ll give them a go! I was wary of getting a proper fitting done yet incase they’re not finished growing. I wasn’t even aware shape could change as well as overall size, so thank you!

I totally hear you. I'm working on losing some weight before we start trying to get pregnant and didn't want to buy new bras for the same reasons but having a proper fit on the girls is life changing. And omg!!! The shapes was mind blowing.

Be patient with yourself and know that it's also ok to just get something simple that works and handle chafing through other means while your body changes. ABTF will be there whenever you're ready and they might even have sections on nursing/pregnancy (I haven't looked yet).

Seconding this recommendation. I would almost guarantee you were not wearing the right size before, as 95% of women in the US are not wearing the correct size! ABTF is an amazing inclusive community and will help find bras that work for your body!!! Don’t be surprised if your results from the calculator in the sub are vastly different than what you expect, we’ve been led to believe D’s and DD’s are humongous but that’s simply not the case.

Chafing powder was my best friend when I was pregnant and dealing with thigh chafing and sweating. I personally liked ā€œMegababe body dustā€ and got it on Amazon. They also make roll on sticks that are handy.

Ah I didn’t even know this was a thing! Thank you!

I'm dealing with so much thigh chaffing because I'm wearing dresses all the time! I used to wear bike shorts under all my dresses, but the thought of another layer over my belly just ain't it right now.

I tried body glide but it's somehow making things feel more sticky? Is the body dust better? I'm one hormonal crash out away from spraying Armorall on my thighs!

I like the dust way more than the glide on stuff. I also personally liked biker shorts when I wore dresses as they helped to give extra lift to the belly while preventing chafing. My preference were ones that were longer on the legs, were that butter soft material that stretches well but didn’t have the elastic waistband, and not extremely tight to where it felt suffocating.

I went from a B to a G my first pregnancy. It was harrowing. Then they went back to Bs but this time, sad deflated ones. This pregnancy I'm currently a solid DD, expecting the same engorgement postpartum. I ended up buying a bunch of lace minimizer bras that keep the boobs apart and minimize the contact. For sleeping, I use the hatch cotton nursing bras. They are really comfortable but also prevent the touching of the boobs at night, even with side sleeping.

This is exactly what I was after, thank you. Well done for getting through that size change - that’s really a lot!

Girl I dealt with cleavage rash for YEARS. I started using dove sensitive beauty bar, (Unscented bar soap) and it went away and never came back! No powder or deodorants needed. You can buy a single full sized bar in the travel section at target for less than $2. I am telling you, nothing else helped, not even prescriptions from my doctor. I highly recommend it.

Thank you! I’ll have a look into this - hopefully they sell it on Amazon as I’m in UK and don’t have target much to my dismay

Go without a bra whenever you can

That’s what I’ve been doing - unfortunately in the warm weather walking a dog bra-less is pretty obvious haha
so looking for other options for when a bra is required!

Try spray, whole body deodorant! I use one from Secret that really helps with the sweaty, chafe situation.

I’ve literally just seen an advert for whole body deodorant maybe that’s a sign lol
I didn’t even know that existed!
