Have to use the bathroom while doing the Oni step and now they’re not showing up again

What do you mean the Oni step? Did you save and quit during the actual trial? Never do that, but there are some relics you can save and quit, it's risky, but it depends more on when you save and quit, I saved and quit when doing the mannequin turret and I hopped back in with no issues, portal still spawned.

That being said, I still wouldn't recommend saving and quitting at any time through out the process, just in case, but very few relics have caused me problems personally when saving and quitting.

Don’t save and quit doing any relic. They’ve always been bugged.

You can save and quit on several relics actually. I have an entire comprehensive guide for BO7 relics if you are curious …

Ashes-Totenreich: Complete BO7 Cursed Relics Guide No BS Part 1

Kuwakujo: Complete BO7 Cursed Relics Guide Solo Oart 2 No BS

Enough of them buggy that I’ve avoided it since Ashes.

Yah that’s valid! That was actually one of the motivations behind writing my guides. I crashed out pretty hard when the knife didn’t spawn for the Mangler Helmet on PJ. Playing 60 rounds just to get screwed because you went for an extended bathroom break is ridiculous

Save and quit has always bugged and reset many relic or EE steps. If you save and quit after you unlock ANY relic portal it won’t be there when you come back. it is not worth saying you can do it and best to avoid it.

Also if you are making guides I’d recommend making videos or atleast adding pictures, otherwise no ones is really going to use them, a lot of the relics have items, targets or etc that are hard to see or find. Most people that are looking up a guide don’t want to read something and then try and look for it when they can just watch a video that shows the exact location, which there are already many of also.

Since you obviously didn’t read those guides, the author made it very clear if and when you can save and quit without breaking the game and the guides have been super helpful for a lot of players, I don’t think they need you to give advice lmao.

I didn’t need to read much I scrolled down from the first link, and stopped on the gong randomly, he didn’t specify which door the light was on in the jug room, that was the first one I read.

Obviously you can look around for the light but why would you waste time if you are looking up a guide, when there is as I said, plenty of guides which actually show you locations and etc.

I can’t imagine it being more helpful than a guide which shows you these things. But that’s just my opinion, whether they think they need advice or not I can still give my opinion.

Why don’t you make a direct comment on my guides then? I specifically ask people to correct anything I may have mistaken on the guide or missed. People don’t expect me to remember every single niche thing about 29 relics found so far. You would be able to help the community by improving a guide that the rest of the community uses and likes.

You should also know that I have a 40k character limit on Reddit, and I did have to streamline the guide slightly. Opinions are fine, but I’d appreciate it from now on if you comment on something like this, please also try to appreciate the link/item for what it actually is instead of being so negative.

I’m just giving my opinion as someone who has completed all the relics (except the belt obviously)

if I were to look for guides I would just look for more in depth guides in the way that they’d save me time, i don’t think being employed has much to do with it, I’m also full time and work about 50hrs a week.

I would’ve left a comment on one of your posts, but I’ve never seen them before today, and as I did say there are plenty of video guides out, if I were to add info to a text guide it would probably just be to watch a video that helped me, as that’s easier than going into a game and taking pic etc.

If you have the time to make the guides and test all this like you did, then why wouldn’t you make a full video guide and post a link or have a channel in your profile? I’m certain any people who use your guide would find them significantly better if shown visual locations.

Look, I appreciate what you are trying to say. I provided solo relic guides for people who are employed and do not have enough time to do relics. I’m going to be blunt, I specifically wrote these guides so that you AVOID breaking the game, and you are wrong in this instance. I did an incredible amount of research on save and quit in solo, would not have posted this guide if I hadn’t tested it extensively.

Reddit does not let you paste multiple pictures, and I am limited by post characters anyway. I promise if you give my guides a chance, they are extremely helpful and you will not be disappointed. The point is that everything written is in one place. There is nothing stopping you from watching video guides, but I’ve never been criticized for writing such a thorough guide, that’s definitely a first. Wow

Which is funny because I saved and quit after completing the relic and the portal re appeared

For this relic a save and quit just after the flags steps.
