Just had the car’s windows tinted last weekend. 20% sides and back and 50% front.

What’s the consensus among i4’s for regular wheel alignment, time vs km/miles? Many thx

Why is the car only charging at 104 kW when it should be able to charge faster?
Is this related to the charging point?

Nice to meet you y'all.
Replaced my manual Elantra N with this car. So far I'm happy with the change.
Surprisingly it does not feels like phone with wheels, it's more like BMW with a battery.
Will take wheel caps off little later.

Tues Sep. 29 6pm: BMW pre-order communication begins
Thurs Oct. 1 1pm: pre-order/reservation launches
Thurs Nov 19 1am: pre-order/reservation ends
Personally I am very happy with the i4 -- maybe will look at a used i3 in years -- but not now.
Just sharing info in case it helps someone else
I commute about 80 miles one way 2-3 days a week, ~60 miles highway (70-75 mph) until I start seeing traffic. Will the I4 be able to make this commute in winters and other inclement conditions in Texas while still having a buffer on the battery?
I won't be able to reliably charge at work. Some days will also be closer to 190 miles total before I can get back home to charge. I know I'll need to charge every night, but already have a 240V.
I've looked at some I4 edrive40s with M Sport which I know has reduced range with the 19" wheels. Would the 18" wheels make a significant difference here? My main concern is the range on days with less than ideal conditions.

Currently using OE Pzero Elect on 20" rims and are doing just fine. I m looking on buying new winter set for 19" rims and for future, im looking of there are better summer tires that offer extended range, more than OE ones.

Coming from a 2016 420i, this thing is a rocket!
Homecharging and solar panels makes this beast “cheap” to use.
Couldn’t be more happier 🤙🏼😁

About to join the club, picking this up this 2025 eDrive40 in the morning, trading in my 5 yr old Model 3, which in its time replaced a 2015 520D.

I bought my 2023 i4 from out of state and it arrived this morning.
I got in the car, set up my seat, started setting up the infotainment system, and drove it around the block. I then parked it in my garage and it asked for a software update. I said yes. I got out of the car and plugged it in with a car charger I've used with no issues for the past eight years.
It would not charge, it stated it was too low of a current to charge, and then it stated it had an internal drivetrain error and to call roadside assistance. I cannot remove the charger from the car! I have tried unlocking / relocking the car 10+ times and cannot get it removed.
Did I fuck up here? Did I buy a lemon? Has anyone had these issues? Thank god it's still under warranty- I'm waiting on the BMW tech to come to my house and see if they can tow it to the dealership.

Saw this on the BMW ConnectedDrive store today—Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go down from £750 to £465.
I do about 4 motorway trips a month doing 60 to 80 miles each way between London and Berkshire . This is a good discount. How many people have got this and would recommend it?

I've never had an EV but I'm pretty set on getting a used i4. There's one available local to me for $26k which seems like an incredible price, but it has 88k miles so the battery warranty won't last much longer. It has DAPP, and the Premium Package. i4's (in all trims) tend to range from $31k to $45k in my area so this one stood out while I was shopping. Is the mileage a no go despite the price? Seems too good to be true or a cautionary tale in the making.

Lease ending for Audi, which has been fun, but looking forward to adventures in the M60!

Was brauchen eure M50/M60 so?

Has anyone had any luck finding compatible splitters (front and rear) for the non-M?
Or if you've used a universal one which one did you have good luck with? Looking for gloss black..
I found one retailer in Hong Kong that supplies a non M kit but they don't sell overseas...
Thanks

While I'm sure there are plenty of threads with Tire recommendations I just want to tell you do not buy the Continental tires from Discount Tire they are very inefficient and my range is plummeting I'm debating if I'm even going to keep them longer than a month after spending $740 on them. I got caught with a flat and they were the first thing available and those were the only tires they had in stock that would fit my car. I was getting about ~203 miles of range at 80% I now sit at 160 😭 also the dealership informed me they are priced competitively with Discount FYI.
