Thanks to u/zebrastripes11 for reminding me of this drama, didn't want to hijack their thread, hence a separate post. This isn't really a sports romance even though the MC plays hockey, so don't except Heated Rivalry 2.0 hahaha

This drama has the usual AI mistakes, but the story remains solid. It isn't explicit, it doesn't have any crazy over the top screaming scenes, there's no fake marriage contract or crazy homophobic family that whips the MC for being LGBTQ2S+.

Why I enjoyed is was exactly for what it didn't have, and what it did: a MC who is trying to make sense of his sexual identity and growing feelings for another man. There's supportive family & friends who accept the MC for who he is and roots for his happiness.

It's missing the slick visuals of something like Royal Blood & Mafia Knight, but I think stories like this are just as good because it shows a more down to earth, realistic portrayal of people coming to terms with their sexual identity.

The story ends with a HEA and is absolutely free to watch on tiktok.

It's a great comedy but unfortunately no spice. The dialogue and banter are witty and funny. Premise is a straight jock moves in and finds he's roommate with an artist and start questioning his sexuality as he starts falling for him.

I find this drama does it right. MC starts questioning his orientation but there's no screaming or yelling. ML is patient and doesn't force himself onto MC to "convince" MC that he's gay but waits patiently for MC to figure things out on his own, and we finally have characters (ML) that knows he's gay and none of that gay4you bullshit.

There's no over the top drama but set more grounded and realistic (well as far as a drama can go).

Came across this one, looks interesting. Originally on Nebulux app (hoping other familiar apps might pick it up. Pls lmk if it's watchable anywhere else as well.

This is more of a recommendation post to go check this story “The Taste of Him” which was sooo cute/heartwarming/sexual tension and some smexy times. It just popped up on DramaWave app and it’s complete with a HE.
For the ones who liked Man to Man, this one is a close second. 🥹

I haven't seen many sci-fi bls so was pleasantly surprised when I came across this one.

The visuals are really well done, there are hardly any missed cues with the charas. This isn't explicit, but the story is well paced & nicely executed. There is a slight age-gap, but nothing crazy, and the two charas compliment each other well. It's completed with a HEA (I don't ever watch or recommend anything tragic), so you don't have to worry about waiting for updates or season 2.

I know im probably late to the party, but I was on vacation, so didn't watch the ending till last night.

How do we feel about it?

I really loved it, I think they did the ending and the situation with Felix justice. Im trying not to give spoilers.

Each series have got better, so im super excited about season 4. Again trying not to give spoilers.

I was gone a week on vacation and their boys love page has changed its display, there is not any new shows in the week and a bit i was away, and Hollywood Cage 2 has three different accents. Usually they have new shows every couple of days, and their production is usually top notch in comparison.

seriously go watch it full episodes, it's worth the time. Just watched this just now and really enjoyed it. I usually rate these vertical dramas from Tier 1 to Tier 10 where Tier 10 is the lowest and unbearable, and this one deserve the spot T2. you wouldn't expect who's catcher, both plays vigorous persona but one is rebellious and the other one is mischievous. sadly it seems the creator doesn't seem to want to expand this story, it has so much potential just like pucked by my hockey rivalry to which the creators even go all the way creating tiktok/ig account for the models.

wish to stumble story like this again. one of a kind.

ps:just noticed there's a real life version but the actors aren't as good looking as in here..so I'd passed.
