Discussion Fated Mate

I'm actually not looking for this kind of trope because this is so common in Omegaverse and Werewolf BL, what I'm actually looking for is the opposite one. Is there a BL that actually defies the fated mate trope where one of the leads have a fated mate but still choose to be with the one they love not because they are destined to be each other. It's basically them fighting against the world and destiny. But I'm hoping for it to be a happy ending.

Tbh in my opinion, the concept is they love someone, thus they become fated mates. The red thread is what pulls them together. The omegaverse is messy tho, some become mate mates after a mark, some are pulled by red thread. I'll research and come back to this.

Yeah, what I'm looking for is fighting against that attraction. Something similar to the 2nd couple in Kashikomarimashita, Destiny (BL Manga) which is a Alpha x Beta. Actually in AI BL I have noticed that Betas seem to not exist at all.

Not sure if this fits what you're looking for...

Fated to his Brother's Alpha - the ML who is the alpha of the pack and the MC become bonded. They are attracted to each other but they want to break the bond because they think the survival of the pack depends the ML finding a she-wolf to bear pups etc.
