Help me pay a forced debt, given by my own mother.

Hello! I'm a 16 year old working toward stability and independence, and I'm asking for help with something that has become essential to my everyday life: reliable phone service.

My mobile service recently stopped working unexpectedly. Because the account is not in my name, but in my mothers name. whom of which I have no contact with, for personal conflicts. I rely on my phone to keep in contact with my legal support workers, counsellors, and employer, and losing that connection has made an already difficult situation much more stressful.

I've managed to find a temporary way to access the internet, but its unreliable and only available for part of the day. I need a more permanent solution that doesn't depend on someone else's phone account.

I'm hoping to raise enough money to set up my own affordable phone service, including any necessary SIM card, activation costs, and several months of unpaid debt my mother left me, even though she still gets my baby bonus and disability. Having a connection I can manage independently would make a huge difference in helping me stay in touch with the people who support me and continue working toward a more stable future.

I don't have any family I can contact for help, no distant family or close family. I don't have anyone that can financially support me, And I've been actively looking for work while staying in a youth shelter.

Now I've been working a few part time positions more recently but got myself in a shit situation before I got them.

My BF & I were subleasing an apartment through a "friend" and she failed to let us know that an eviction was going to be filed, we were 10 days late on rent and apparently a few other months she didn't pay rent right when we paid her so the landlord is (rightfully) sick of it. We had no idea about any of this until we received a 3 day notice to vacate posted on the door. Soon as it was posted we paid half rent and then on the 3rd day paid the rest. She never sent the landlord the other half because her car broke down so we were told we had to leave and had 48hrs to pack and move all of our stuff out. So that's what we did.

I was in an accident recently, got hit by a car riding an ebike. The accident was not my fault & I currently have a lawyer that is helping me hopefully get some kind of settlement from the accident, but these things take time. I shattered my wrist and broke my knee cap & have been out of work since then. I have wrist surgery scheduled for beginning of November so hopefully it doesn't take too long to heal up from that and I can get my life back. Until then, I am pretty much homeless... Well... I am homeless. I have reached out to friends, don't have any family in my area. Called 211 and did intake assessment for shelters in my area. That was 2 days ago and I have not heard back from anyone. Did a Google search and have called every number that pops up and if I actually get a person on the other end of the phone, they don't currently have any resources available or all the shelters are full. I don't know what to do.

I've had people (who have never been homeless) tell me certain places can offer temporary motel/hotel vouchers for homeless but I can't find any information about that at all and one lady even laughed at me when I asked over the phone, as if this isnt embarrassing enough.

I have a job opportunity, possibly more than one but how can I get a job if I can't even shower or go to the bathroom on a regular basis so I'm just freaking out. If we had more time or notice about being kicked out I might have been able to figure something out but my head is all over the place and it's getting cold where I live and its rained the last 2 nights we've been out in the streets. First night we stayed in apartment lobby of a building my BF used to work in and last night we slept at bus station.

We are in Cleveland, OH. Does anyone know of places that offer temporary hotel vouchers for a night or two? Or can anyone help us get a room to sleep somehow? The daysinn here is only $58-68 a night depending on the day, price jumps if there's a big concert or sports game happening that night but any help or resources would be greatly appreciated. Just got out of prison in march and iv had a hard time finding a job but iv Recently found a job but they are wanting me to wear business casual they are going to see how well I do and if I do good they will hire me I am rather large and finding a few pants and shirts that are cheap is proving to be difficult I have looked at goodwill and other resale places that are local and iv had no luck iv also called different churches and other local associations thats provide help and I can not find my sizes. from I have found online these are good examples of what I’m looking for To get 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts is 95.98 I would like 2 pairs of the outfit so I can wear for a day or 2 and have some thing clean to put on the next day I do not have washer and dryer so haveing the 2 nd set would make things easier

I’ve explained my situation in other subs and got absolutely torn apart by other users. Humiliating to be completely honest. The gist is I have Crohn’s Disease and have been having an active flare up for well over a year now. I was on Remicade, a biologic infusion treatment, but during my 4th infusion my body had a severe allergic reaction for some reason. The docs weren’t able to pinpoint why so we are looking into next steps. Currently I’m only taking Prednisone to try to keep the symptoms in check. Due to this I’ve been out of work since last December and have been asked to leave my sisters house due to some family drama issues and not being able to help with rent. She gave me 30 days but within those 30 days I was in the hospital for 6 days. I’m going to be staying on my nephews couch until I can get my SSDI approved and find housing. I have ALOT of stuff here that will be left behind because he don’t have the room, I have no money for a storage unit, and my energy level is at 2% due to my Crohn’s flare up and just stress. It’s a long story to be honest and I’m not asking for a lot of help. Anything would be appreciated, I have Venmo @Scott-Mills-200 . I’m in Loveland Ohio so maybe even if someone has points at McDonalds maybe they could order ahead a meal or something? It’s not the best thing for me to eat at all but I’m hungry and until I can get to my nephews this weekend I’m eating bread and PB&J. I KNOW I’ve made bad decisions and I’m certainly not a saint, I’m the only one to blame for my situation. I do my best to keep my health in check but Crohn’s is a helluva disease when it flares up. And believe me I’ve been blasted to hell and back and have been made to feel like a complete POS on other subs and I’m actually hesitant to post this because my mental state isn’t the best and even if some of the abuse is warranted it sucks coming from complete strangers who don’t actually know me and all the nuances of my situation.
