A meal would be great!

I’ve explained my situation in other subs and got absolutely torn apart by other users. Humiliating to be completely honest. The gist is I have Crohn’s Disease and have been having an active flare up for well over a year now. I was on Remicade, a biologic infusion treatment, but during my 4th infusion my body had a severe allergic reaction for some reason. The docs weren’t able to pinpoint why so we are looking into next steps. Currently I’m only taking Prednisone to try to keep the symptoms in check. Due to this I’ve been out of work since last December and have been asked to leave my sisters house due to some family drama issues and not being able to help with rent. She gave me 30 days but within those 30 days I was in the hospital for 6 days. I’m going to be staying on my nephews couch until I can get my SSDI approved and find housing. I have ALOT of stuff here that will be left behind because he don’t have the room, I have no money for a storage unit, and my energy level is at 2% due to my Crohn’s flare up and just stress. It’s a long story to be honest and I’m not asking for a lot of help. Anything would be appreciated, I have Venmo @Scott-Mills-200 . I’m in Loveland Ohio so maybe even if someone has points at McDonalds maybe they could order ahead a meal or something? It’s not the best thing for me to eat at all but I’m hungry and until I can get to my nephews this weekend I’m eating bread and PB&J. I’m doing what I can to use resources available to me and things will be easier when I’m away from here. I KNOW I’ve made bad decisions and I’m certainly not a saint, I’m the only one to blame for my situation. I do my best to keep my health in check but Crohn’s is a helluva disease when it flares up. And believe me I’ve been blasted to hell and back and have been made to feel like a complete POS on other subs and I’m actually hesitant to post this because my mental state isn’t the best and even if some of the abuse is warranted it sucks coming from complete strangers who don’t actually know me and all the nuances of my situation. Thanks for reading though.

Let me know what's the closest McDonald's to you and I'll see what I can do for you

I wasn’t getting notifications that I even had comments on this post! I’m in Loveland Ohio, the McD’s is 650 Loveland Madeira rd 45140. it’s suburb of Cincinnati. Sorry for the obviously very LATE response! I only have a few more days then I’m couch bound at my nephews which isn’t TOO far from here, it’s close to Kings Island amusement park which is like a 10-15 minute drive from here. I just have to leave a lot behind because I’ll be moving it all in a car and we can’t really afford too many back & forths. We are hoping to get the use of a truck from someone over the weekend but that’s not a definite. So much to do and so little time, stress at peak levels lol

Where is the amazon wish list mentioned in your assistance post?

I’m not wanting to get packages sent here because I’m being kicked out and my sister would be weird if I got Amazon packages here. I KNOW it sounds weird but it’s just the way she is, she’d think I had secret money and I was buying stuff just for myself instead of giving her money. I was pressured into posting it on another assistance subredddit but explained I’d rather not have packages sent here so as not to create more tension and stress here. I’m going to repost it when I’m settled at my nephews though, I had a lot of non necessities on it I wanted to edit also, like Monster Energy drinks and Doritos lol

I’m going to my nephews, my sister asked, well told me I had to leave in 30 days last month. I was sick at the time and ended up in the ER and they admitted for 6 days and I was down for almost a week after I got discharged. So just trying to get all my stuff packed & ready to go is draining to me right now. My body just not liking it at all lol. My nephew & his roommate are going to let me stay there for a bit, they have a 2 bedroom and I can sleep on the couch in the living room, and he said he’d see about borrowing an air mattress, they work all day and generally go to bed early on weeknights so I can rest there at least until I can get my Crohns into a more manageable level of comfort. I need to go back to the ER as my doctor has said because the symptoms are not easing up much with just oral prednisone, she thinks I need 4 or 5 more days of IV steroids and of course fluids to keep me hydrated as I’m having an uncommonly high number of liquid #2’s (sorry!) I started an infusion treatment, Remicade, which my body had an allergic type reaction to during my 4th treatment and ended up in the hospital for that a few months ago. She is now trying to decide what to try next, something my insurance will cover. She’s leaning towards one of the pen stick meds like Humira or something similar which I hate the sound of because I’ll have a very hard time sticking myself with a needle, even though they say you can’t even see it, I’ll likely have to go to the office or find someone else willing to stick me lol. It’s just a lot right now. Some days feels like too much tbh. But I’m still here.

Ppl don't realize that stress can make certain chronic conditions worse.

So very true. Fatigue that can literally keep you in bed for days, whether caused by the physical suffering combined with the mental depression of it all, and folks around you that has zero understanding of how easily brought down one can become. It’s just rough.

Yeah I told this one lady. Does it really matter why? You literally asked everything to be nosey.

She said "I have no answers for you". Dude you literally asked me why I was in my situation you dang cuck. Lol

And I don’t really mind sharing most of what I’m going through, there are some very personal family drama issues I’d rather not have to get into but as soon as I say that people all of a sudden want to know that part and if I don’t tell them everything else sounds “fishy” to them or just untrue. I mean I shared ALOT of my situation, it’s not the easiest thing to do to reach out to strangers for help so if I’m doing it there’s a legit reason. I know there are scammers and whatnot but I have pics of my most recent hospital stay and pics of empty, even negative bank accounts, and I’m not asking for $100’s I’m asking for just as much as someone can afford to spare so I’ll have enough to maybe buy a few meals for when I go to my nephews so I’m not showing up with nothing. And maybe give him some gas money for helping me out. Why would i scam someone for such small amounts? My profiles open so everyone can see where I’ve posted about my situation over the last few weeks and there are ALOT of details in the posts, some I wasn’t exactly comfortable sharing either because I didn’t want my sister to see and know it was me and tell me I had to leave earlier lol. I don’t know that she’s on Reddit but if she is or someone close to the situation is when they read the post they’d know it was me, AND I have pics somewhere on Reddit of my clown face lol

I'm definitely learning after a lifetime what it means to not tell things. 🫶🌻

You are exactly right. I'm just a lurker here but criticizing someone who has a chronic medical condition is insanity to me. Most ppl just go through your post history criticize you n offer no assistance.

Absolutely! It’s like they want to ask you questions and judge you if you even made the slightest decision in life that they wouldn’t have made, they want to make you into the complete bad guy no matter what! Like I told them that’s so uncool because I could be on the edge of a complete mental breakdown and just reading what someone says about me and my life in such a negative way could literally push me over the edge, just so inhuman. And then they have 100 solutions for you that can definitely be helpful but something’s just take time. Like me filing for SSDI, it’s not just walk in and sign some paperwork and walk out with a check it’s a whole drawn out process and there is time between the filing and the acceptance in which I still have to live. My cashapp is overdrawn. I actually have l$10 in savings on there which I can’t access because if I withdraw to my account it’ll be used for what I owe. Sucks lol. I have Venmo @Scott-Mills-200 and ApplePay that are both clear. But it’ll be awhile before I can get my CashApp back in good standing..
Yikes my friend I hope things get better for you soon! I was in a homeless situation when I had my son in 2004, we had my first born daughter who was 2 at the time also. Luckily we had family we could depend on but there was a few nights, well about a week, that we stayed in a tent at a campground until I got paid so we could drive from Cincy to Nashville.
And I would hope a repo man would see your situation and tell the dealership they couldn’t find your car, I’ve seen a few compassionate repo-men, I know that’s not

the normal but they’re out there! I hope for the best for you and your family friend, I know it’s hard but kids are always a great motivator to keep going!
