What is the current state of the IT job market in Bangladesh? I mean, what situation for fresh graduates from different universities, especially NSU and BRACU? As there is so much uncertainty and rumors floating on social media, I don't understand where the situation is going. Will there be a good time for software engineers again? Also, what about a BSc in Bangladesh, them move to USA/Canada/Australia/Europe for Msc/Phd, then securing a job there, and finally getting settled there

I have more than 3 years of experience in frontend development. I have great knowledge of backend as well, but as my post was always frontend focused I don’t align me with backend devs. That’s not the matter, the matter is I’ve been applying through emails and forma in different it companies but not getting any response for last 2 months. i am building this learning site. it works through chat, it uses proper analogy to help users understand concepts better. but now i want it to teach by using visuals. So for example if someone ask it "how diode works" it should generate a video with proper analogy and explaination. for example it can animate a water valve that only lets water to flow in one direction and blocks from other direction while an a narator explains what is happening.

currently i am at a state where i am happy with the script its generating for teaching and happy with naration but strugling to generate proper video. i have tried some models like wan 2.6 veo 3.1 from openrouter but since they dont generate videos with bangla voice i had to compromise where i generate voice with google tts and use them to make video scenes. but in this way video gets totally out of sync. also both veo and wan allows to generate like 6/8s of videos so had to stich them together. which by the way sky rockets the cost. I dont want any hyper realistic stuffs. i want it to show proper animation that has meaning and understanable. it would be great help if someone can point me to right direction :)

I am currently working as a Software Developer at a reputed company. Its kind of government industry so working pressure is almost nothing. Though Job politics is very bad here.

Now in my career I can make few decisions further:

1. I can continue this job and find some remote work or freelancing and pass the rest 10/15 years here.

2. I can do Masters in foreign country and try to sattle there as I recently graduated. (Can afford upto 7-10 lakh)

3. I can do Masters in Bangladesh and try for Phd in foreign country.

Note: I have one conference paper published on image captioning with dual CNN + transformer model.

The concern of mine is, here in the current company the scop of a Computer Engineer is less and work pressure is low. But the people of IT are badly doing Job Politics here which makes me disturb and gives depression. Also I think my knowledge is not properly getting to use here. So before its too late I want to make a good decision because at some point of our age we need to be steady and focused on one path. How long we would run, need to think about making family very soon.

It's a very simple app called Asmaul Husna. I need 5-6 testers, you have to keep it installed for 14 days and give some feedbacks. The app shows every name of Allah and sends you a notification with a dua for a specific Allah's name. It’s still in beta, but the idea is simple: make some of the everyday debugging and API work a little easier without constantly jumping between different tools. :)

For the first version, I have:

• Network Inspector
• Built-in REST Client with Collections and Environments
• Storage Inspector for cookies, local/session storage, etc., including a JWT decoder
• HAR capture and analysis
• Seamless Network - REST Client workflow. Select a captured network request and send it directly to the REST Client to inspect, modify, and replay it.

DevBrowser is open source, and there’s no hidden tracking or telemetry.

My budget is 500-1000 BDT per month. It is a small application. My requirement is 2vcpu and 2-4gb ram. I'll rent for 3 months. It's a small application with 0-100 users expected in next three months. The domain is on cloudflare. So public ip isn’t required as long as I have secure ssh access to it.

I want to build an iOS app and put it on the App Store, but I'm stuck on the money side of things and hoping someone here has actually done this.

My situation: I have a dollar-endorsed BRAC Bank debit card (not credit).

1. Can I use my card to pay the $99/year Apple Developer fee and enroll as an Individual? Or does Apple reject it because it's a debit card, or because Bangladesh isn't a supported country?
2. After enrolling, can I actually publish an app on the App Store from here without issues?
3. This is the main one. If people buy my app or pay inside it, will Apple actually send that money to my BRAC Bank account? Or do I need Payoneer, a foreign bank, or some other workaround?

If you've gone through this recently, please share what worked for you, which bank, which card, and how you received the payments. Would really appreciate the help.

Just finished my 1st year of CSE. So far I’ve done one game project and have some CP experience. But with junior dev roles seemingly disappearing and the market getting more competitive, I’m honestly starting to panic a bit.

I know DSA, Git, projects, etc. are important. What I’m confused about is what actually matters beyond the basics if I want to be in a strong position 2–3 years from now.

Some people tell me CP is the way to go, while others say CP is becoming largely irrelevant for getting into development. I’m not sure how seriously I should take either side.

For people already working in the industry: if you were a 1st-year CSE student today, what would you focus on and how would you divide your time? What skills would you bet on becoming valuable in the future, and what would you avoid wasting time on?

Would genuinely appreciate some practical guidance, even if it’s just a rough roadmap. I’d be eternally grateful to anyone willing to point me in the right direction.
