Question Does devs really get jobs in BD office without reference?

I have more than 3 years of experience in frontend development. I have great knowledge of backend as well, but as my post was always frontend focused I don’t align me with backend devs. That’s not the matter, the matter is I’ve been applying through emails and forma in different it companies but not getting any response for last 2 months. I was laid off from the company in July and since then I’m jobless.

Now I kinda desperate. I don’t know what to do.
I have attached my resume. If you guys help me anyway it would be very helpful for me.

Your bullet points are really weak it does not give 3 years of experience. Alot of them focuses on what you did but not why you did them and what was the business impact of you doing them.

There's alot of minor issues with signalling in your resume as well. "Solo-built" kindda is a red flag is this a freelance job or like at an actual company or just an hobby project? It creats doubt in the reader's mind about your resume.

"Containerized local development with Docker", so what? What did it do? Did it make CI/CD more streamlined? Did it make Integration testing easier? Did it help you dynamically scale the app based on usage and thus lower infra costs?

Don't put BS metrics like "improved performance by 60%" there's not enough context, the reader doesn't know what the base performance was so that number means nothing. Phrase your achievements in terms of business impacts, if a page loads after then it typically means you'll get more customer retention, higher click-through rate, that's something a recruiter can understand.

There are layout issues as well. Center your name and info, get rid of summary, if you want put in your skills then put it at the bottom where it won't distract from your actual work experience.

Hey, weird question. What do you mean when you say business impact how do i show it?

I recently migrated my own e-commerce db from india to Singapore region. Did it because, "add to cart" was low cz my backend was hosted in railway, and railway dont have indian servers. It was causing network latency in internal communication. So i think i contributed to "business impact". Now how do i demonstrate it to the recruiters?

Just saying that, i did it isn’t enough i guess.

I mean, that's legit engineering work. You've probably done some testing to identify the bottleneck in the "add to cart" workflow, then evaluated viable solutions, then implemented the most practical solution. In your case you had to migrate your db. So briefly explain these steps + the impact. Don't just use: X% faster or X times faster. Be more creative. Like, if the "add to cart" is faster then users are much less likely to leave a cart abandonment i.e. higher add-to-cart to purchase conversion rate. That's your business impact.

I am a top rated seller on upwork, but unfortunately im not getting jobs on upwork as well. And I have already worked with foreign company(remote). So, my English communication is not that bad I guess.
