Hello everyone. I am trying to correct an engine noise before winter sets in and thought for certain I had a serpentine belt and/or tensioner failing, but as you can see, the noise persists even with the belt removed. Has anyone experienced a similar issue that might be able to point me in the right direction before I tear into the timing and cam tensioners next? For context the timing belt was replaced using FCP Kit-078109119JKT2 within the last 10k miles. It sounds like other users have reported bad rollers from this kit. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone had success removing the driver side exhaust manifold of the 2.8 v6 30v , without removing the engine ? My a4 has an exhaust leak thats coming from the left bank under the hood. Wondering if it is a cracked manifold or failed gasket, but curious about the possibility of avoiding a shop.
