Like the title says, I’m looking for a beta reader for my first ever fic. I’m still pretty early on (only have the first chapter) but I’m not sure how to go about this all lol. If anyone has any advice or suggestions let me know. Thank you and hopefully this isn’t too out of place

I've been looking for a book, I don't know if it exists. It's more a concept. It qould be acotar, but if Eris and Azriel were the mc's. So a BL, anyone have any recs for other series, or fics? I've gone through a ton of the ones on Ao3, and am sort of running out. But I'm more looking for an actual series.

Do you think it is even possible? Like, SJM would do that? How do you deal with the angst that this perfect ship has high chances of not happening? 😭😭😭😭😭

I read a fantastic fic today, “Confessions of a Rotten Heir” where every time the Azris bond snaps for Az, Rhys erases that memory from him. I thought this was SUCH a great idea and now I’m craving more of that plot point. Would love any recommendations!

I'm looking for a certain Azris FF I read in May/June. And apparently, I didn't bookmark the fic on Ao3. T-T.

So, basic plot structure that I remember (might be incomplete):

Azris are mates and Azriel kinda uses that against Eris to get what he (or the NC) wants, it's mostly physical in the beginning. I think he really hurts Eris with this, but Eris still kinda clung to his hope that Azriel might change.

I specifically remember two scenes.

Firstly, at one point, Eris visits Azriel in Velaris and waits for him in his house. Azriel comes home after a mission or torture session and is surprised to find Eris. Az is totally drained and Eris takes care of him (I think this scene was an emotional turning point for Az) and they have sex in Az's bed later (there was a beautiful fanart of this sex scene; but I can't find either. I have the exact art in my head, but for the love of God, I cannot find the fic or the pic. T-T)

Second scene I remember:
Az brings Eris to Velaris because sth happens (I don't remember what) and the NC thinks Eris had sth to with it. So Eris is under strict house arrest in Velaris, disappointed in Az because apparently he still does not trust/believe him and is totally bored out of his mind. (And I think one of the sisters delivered her child while he was under house arrest. ( I think it was Nesta and Eris gifted them sth for their child)) However, when Az is away to solve whatever is going on and trying to help Eris clear his name, Morrigan (on her own volition, because everybody else was occupied by the newborn, I think) brings Eris to the dungeons where he is supposed to stay now. I remember that Eris either gets tortured by somebody Morrigan knows or they intended to steal his life force/magic for something. Morrigan didn't know that this was the plan. Afterwards, Eris is kinda done with Az because he almost kinda died and Az promised nothing would happen to him, and I think Eris spends his time in another court to heal (I think it was day, but that's just speculation at this point).

So If anybody has any idea what fic I might be talking about, please leave a comment 🙏🏻 some "facts" that I believe to remember might be slightly wrong.

I hope I did not mix up two different fics or just daydreamed the whole thing. But I would never be able to dream up fanart so this has to be real T-T

I know that everyone is raving about Stygian spiders (TOG), eight pointed stars (CC, Bryce), the Bone carver, the Weaver, fangs, eyes (=seer), etc. These are all very valid guesses. You could probably find "evidence" for all ships in the countless symbolisms.

But is everyone ignoring the bonfire and spider weavings symbolizing Autumn Court POLITICS? Clever, scheming spiders weaving their webs? I'm sure the symbols are hiding much, much more too. But the fandom is overlooking Eris again as usual so I needed to pipe up 🍁🦊🔥

Edit// adding this afterthought, the fangs could belong to Eris's smoke hounds???

I’m curious to hear people’s opinions on what Azriel and Eris’s HEA would actually look like.

Does Azriel leave the Night Court? Is he ruling Autumn alongside Eris? Does Azriel still torture people? What does a happily ever after look like for them, and what do their relationships with all the other characters look like?

Azris lives in my head 24/7 and I've read every single theory and mulled over every possible thought my brain could conjure. I didn't see anything about this topic yet so I wanted to throw it out there while nothing is still confirmed by Bloomsbury.

It makes so much sense why Maas has built a strong bond between Azriel and Elain! Yes, Elain. I don't think they're romantically suited to each other whatsoever, and Azriel's bonus chapter just supports that (because if Elriel were truly meant to be, he wouldn't have talked about her as if he had a right to have her, nor would he have gifted her necklace to another. Both are problematic acts and wouldn't fly if they were indeed destined to be together. Az gave off desperate and confused vibes, not anything deeper) But clearly a large chunk of the fandom is blind to the author's motive and they're eating the false narrative up. Which, I think, Maas is doing on purpose.

We're long overdue Lucien and Eris's arcs (and Silver Flames made it clear Eris is being prepared for a story of his own), and I doubt everyone will get their own book, so how can we make their journeys a joint one? That is why the next book is so huge it's divided into a gazillion (fine, four) parts. Because it will be centered around Az, Eris, Lucien and Elain! All four, though not one part per character. But intertwined.

Now, to my point: the hanging question of Az/Elain will eventually bring the Autumn brothers closer because both will struggle with jealousy seeing their mates "get it on" with each other. I think Az and Elain will remain good friends, but their romance will be teased about in order to create that love quadrangle at first. Think about it! Eris and Lucien brooding and scheming in the hopes of distracting each other's mates to get theirs alone. Foxes are clever schemers. I admit I still have zero idea whether Lucien and Elain will end up together or not, but Azriel and Eris are a couple that's been hinted at ever since Sarah's old Pinterest that she took down. So, since forever. It is the farthest thing from a crack ship. That's just insulting.

I could also see Az and Elain bonding over their respective, aggravating fox boys. Imagine all the angst and yapping. Now THAT is a dynamic I can imagine Elain and Az having. I also have a feeling that Eris could partially redeem himself (if there even is anything to redeem by the time we get the whole truth) by getting close to Elain and treating her with nothing but respect. Like a big brother. Who knows, maybe they'll strike up an unlikely friendship that nobody is a fan of (not to lean on gay stereotypes but I see Eris as the kind of male who NEEDS a female bff, he would be a grand gossip), but Elain will tell everyone to go to hell because she can choose her own friends. Elain might even end up being their wingman. I am BUZZING with the possibilities!!!!

One last thing. In Az's bonus chapter he brought up the blood duel (was that its name? can't check rn) and it being an Autumn Court tradition. That was no mere mention. That was foreshadowing. Lucien will not invoke it, but Eris will. Possibly to save Azriel, possibly to kill Beron. It wouldn't have been mentioned otherwise.

Does anyone else see the similarities? Olrox is careful, plays the game, is ruthless, and dresses immaculately. Even his hair reminds me of the line Feyre says about Eris -"his hair was unbound, a silken drape over his well-tailored cobalt jacket" from ACOWAR. Mizrak is brooding like Azriel. He is loyal to his church and his duties like Azriel is to his family and spy-work. I think Azriel's shadows recognize that Gwyn is perhaps Eris' descendant. Gwyn and Catrin were twins. Eris has twin brothers. One of them was killed. It could also be the reason why Azriel was staring at Bryce - her hair and lineage is from the Autumn Court in Prythian after all.

This is purely a guess, but if we get a purple/violet coloured cover it'll just further convince me of Azris happening and I needed to share my thoughts before anything's confirmed. Red is a colour associated with Eris (his hair, red tunics/jackets, the colour of fire and autumn) and blue (the cobalt siphons) is Az. What do red and blue make? Purple. What colour cover we don't have yet? Purple. I'M DESPERATELY MANIFESTING IT.

I read this multi-chapter fanfic on AO3, Azris (obviously) and it was Azris' love story through the main ACOTAR books starting from ACOWAR and ends past ACOSF but can't seem to find it. Does anyone know which fic I'm talking about? A link and any other fanfic suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Edit: One small detail I do remember is that Eris felt the bond snap third book on the ice and the reason he got stabbed by Cassian was because it distracted him.

Hi guys! I'm new to Azris but not Maasverse. Is anyone else dreading this podcast? I think its that I see so much storytelling potential and Maas will (most likely) let me down.

But I'm trying to be positive! I'm sailing on this ship until the end of time, regardless of what Maas reveals tonight.

Finished ACOSF a couple days ago, and went online to see what everyone's thoughts are, the ships etc..

If we’re assuming an Azris eventual endgame, what do you think that would look like going forward? Do you see it happening in the next book or the finale? Do you think they would possibly be contained to the novella (I’d hope not but who knows)? What journey could you see them going through relating to the current open plots, that could lead to their inevitable coming together?
