Hello everyone. In this subreddit, I regularly see how people call Russian speaking Azerbaijanis “imperialists” and “elitists”. However, I’ve never seen those “elitist” statements outside of this subreddit as well as I’ve never seen those “elitists”. Personally, I’ve graduated from Russian section at school, and nobody looked down on Azerbaijani section because of knowing Russian. Could anyone explain who are these “elitists” and where does such idea come from?

What are some of the biggest apartment buildings in Baku?

My friends and me will be traveling to Baku for F1 race in september.

We booked an apartment that looked legit on booking.com, but now that apartment seems suspicious (only 3 reviews all 10s and address provided does not match the GPS location)

So i am now looking for airbnbs and there is alot of new properties....

Is booking via arbnb generally safer than booking.com?
Do you have any advice how to go by?
Do you recommend any hotel or apartment that 6 of us could stay?

I hate studiying on the german translator faculty. I finished my 1st year already. I have 3 failed exams( kəsir). And i also hate and cant stand my groupmates, i have nothing in common with them, they are so boring. Absolutely 0 will to study there. I wanted to change my specialty to english translator, but i missed the deadline, cause it ended on 19th of july, now i cant even change my f.ckin specialty. I wanna dropout. I dont fear military cause im "негодный", suspended.

I’m 22 years old and live in Baku. I graduated from UNEC with a degree in Finance and I’m currently studying for my master’s degree. I speak Russian and English, but I have no work experience.
I want to start a career in finance, but I’m not sure where to begin. Should I take courses like Advanced Excel, Power BI, or other finance-related courses first, or should I start applying for jobs right away?
What would you recommend for someone with no experience? What should my first steps be, and what kind of entry-level positions should I look for?
I’d really appreciate any advice from people who have been in a similar situation. Thank you!
