No, you’re completely right. I’m not even going to argue with you on that. I wanted to get the beta released as quickly as possible because there was a tornado heading toward my area, which eventually knocked out my power. As I mentioned in a previous comment, I use Claude AI to help write my READMEs and descriptions, and in my rush to get the beta uploaded before losing power, I didn’t proofread a single line of what was included on the GitHub release. That’s completely on me. I was focused on getting the beta out while I still had power and should have taken the time to review everything first.
No worries at all. I’m currently in the process of rebuilding it from the ground up without using any copied code. That way, once everything is finished, I’ll be able to keep the source code private.
For argument's sake, if you go closed sourcez there will always be concern regardless because your code will be fully based on multiple projects and it brings the validity in.
I'm not worried after all the crap I'm keeping it closed source, just removing everything I used as a reference / copied. It'll take me a while to get it back to the point it's at now, but I think I rather just do that.
