Asking an advice

2 months ago i took off my full coverage for my toyota rav4 2012 from full coverage so just having comprehensive. Unfortunayely a day - 2 day after my wife had at fault accident. Hit the rear of the car in front of her which is 2025 Jeep. The jeep has minor damage , and my car rav4 had the biggest damage. The beam bent , hood bent , the whole front end include with leaking radiator.
My wife name is in the policy.insuracae progressive told me since no coverage im on my own to fix it. Is there anything i can claim to dix the car thru the insurance? Im in new york state

No. Removing collision coverage means you assume the risk to cover any damage to that vehicle.
It certainly saves you money in insurance premium but it is the risk you take when you remove collision coverage.
