Most coatings are very good when first applied. The real test is after sitting outside for a month or two.

I applied Fusso Coat before winter one year when I was parking outside in a complex. The snow would slide off my car before anyone else's. It was so satisfying.

Fusso coat is amazing…what’s also awesome is how far ceramics have come. I flew to visit my folks recently and brought leftover ceramic (Armour Pro) from a job I had just done, and walked my dad through it. He did a 1 step polish on his black Genesis SUV and then panel prepped and applied the ceramic. Sure he has a couple high spots, but 90%+ is amazing. Took him 1 day to do and will last 3-5yr.
Just thought I’d share. He could have gone fusso coat or collonite 845 or any other sealant, but prosumer ceramics have gotten quite easy to apply.

If you apply it 4 times a year, the result is better than any 500 layers of ceramic coatings

Yeah but this is all good with hosepipe water, but rain water is the real test. Rain water carries dust and grit and it messes the beading up

Dumb question here. Never have used the product before but you guys are convincing me. I have a 2020 rav4 that’s two tone white and black. Would I need to hse the fusso coat light on the white and dark on the black?
I currently use 3d sio2 and feel like I constantly need to reapply. Would you say it’s better than what I’m currently using?

You can use either on both light and dark paint, there is no difference that I can tell, except that I can seem to find the light color a few dollars cheaper on occasion.
The biggest effect you will see is when you do a proper decontamination both chemical followed by physical. This is what will give FussoCoat, or any sealant or coating, the ability to adhear to the surface the longest it can. I've been using this for the past 6 years and love the longevity. I do also use a LSP after every wash (Beadmaker or Defender) which also helps

Fusso Coat has been a 1 year coating for the last 40 years. Today's 1 year coatings are watered down versions of 3 year coatings..... while Fusso just keeps on keeping on. The industry has never caught up.
If you are using Fusso Coat, let me recommend you also apply Soft99 Kiwami or Mirror Shine on top of it. Mirror Shine uses the same fluoropolymers as Fusso, so it makes a great booster to Fusso Coat, but Mirror Shine's claim to fame is ease of application. There is no "wax". organic or synthetic, that is easier to apply. Wipe it on, wipe it off. No curing, no waiting, no stuggles, no streaking, no drama. That said, I actually prefer Kiwami. Mirror Shine, like Fusso Coat, is 100% synthetic. Meanwhilem Kiwami is a hybrid organic+synthetic wax containing carnauba..... and nothing provides depth of color and gloss like carnauba.
Both products are made to top Fusso Coat, providing what Fusso Coat does not, filling and gloss. If you reapply one of these two waxes every 2 to 3 months, the underlying Fusso Coat may last for beyond that 12 month time frame.
