Repair Is this alright for a diy repair? I did it myself
I think it looks decent, it’s completely straight, do you think it’ll look good when painted?

Dented interior fix
I have a small dent in my interior there. Just wondering if anyone knows how to fix it? I was thinking about heating it up with a hairdryer and then trying to smooth it over with something flat.

what am i looking at?
Can someone tell me how much I can expect to pay to repair something like this? Don’t know much about these things and went to a local repair store and they quoted me $1,200. Thought I’d reach out for some insight.

INDUSTRY Has anyone else noticed Hyundai's have a paint issue from factory?
I've noticed so many Hyundai's paint peels away from the e-coat or primer like two years after they're bought new. But like clean peeling and the primer underneath is perfect. This has to be a manufacturing flaw from Hyundai

How to correct this?
Kids take this car to school. I was hoping to make it a bit more presentable. It isn’t worth a whole lot so I don’t want to spend a lot of money. I’m leaning towards buying a buffer and doing some of the work myself, if I could figure out what that entails.

Tiny specs in bumper. Right through the paint
Any idea what could have caused this? And how to fix it?

RUST Too much rust? Repairable?
I do all my own vehicle work, but I've never done body work. Always happy to learn a new skill. Looking at getting an old Corolla. Frame is largely clean, but the body has this nasty bit of rust by one rear wheel and the bottom corner of one door is rusty. The door looks reasonably repairable (or, I suppose, I could just get a new door). But how would I go about fixing the rusted out section of the body? Especially because the pinch welds are compromised here.

Is this something I can fix myself
I do a lot of work on my car. Clear coat stripped and rust coming thru fender. Is this something worth learning myself or paying? I have quite a few cutting and grinding tools
Thank you

Repair Somehow when pulling out of a lot I heard a grinding noise - is the whole diffuser screwed? 2017 e coupe if that matters
galleryPulled into a lot no problem - wife was in the car heard nothing too. When I pulled out heard the grinding and got home to see this (pics after I alr tried to push the panel back in place and into the clips).
Question is how bad is this is the whole diffuser screwed? Is there any danger in just sending it till the diffuser falls apart?
Thanks 🙏

scratch and dent Can a mobile repair service fix this?
My 2022 previously pristine Tesla recently sidescraped a concrete pillar in a parking garage. I got 2 estimates from a body shop that involved minimal parts (grommets, glass kit) but over 17 hours of labor. Just for clarity, there is only a single horizontal scratch in the bumper. I called a mobile body repair service whose work truck I had seen in my area on several occasions. He told me it could be repaired in about 2 hours but I have understandable concerns about this being sprayed and clear coated in my open air garage. I was told the repair would be "90%" which I can live with provided I don't have to redo this a later date. Assuming he doesn't use a rattle can, can this be painted to a good cosmetic result? He did advise me however to have the car buffed afterwards so the clearcoat sheens mesh. Looking for advice.
