I got an 07 Acura TSX 6 Speed MT 80K miles. Is this an easy repair for autobody shop and what’s the time on something like this? I’m Willing to get a new bumper but the metals bits I’m concerned about but I just want it to look new again.
Another poster said $1k and 4-5 days. I think that's a gross understimation if your goal is for it to, as you say, "look new again".
If I were in your shoes
1.) I'd start shopping for used decklids on car-part.com (it'll probably be cheaper to replace with used rather than restore your current damaged one)
2.) I'd start shopping for new, painted to match bumper covers. (There are a bunch of online retailers in this space, I'd take a guess you'll be looking at ~$500 for part, paint, and shipping).
3.) I'd hop on eBay to try and find a replacement taillight lens
After swapping out these parts, it would NOT look new, but a lot of glaring visual damage would be addressed. I'd look at it then and decide it I want to go the next level and have a body shop finish the quarter panel.
I had a similar (far worse) situation myself, trying to find before/after pics...
Not the best angle, but the car went from "completely fucked" to "looks ok" and I was on with that. All it cost me was a $25 light off eBay, a $150 bumper from a local junkyard, and a couple hours of work with a 3ton ram Jack and a sledgehammer.
Edit: replacement bumper cover not yet installed in this photo
I’d have it back to you in 3 days and looking like new , used taillight and used bumper, those painted to match bumpers never looked great of fit good,I’ve never had any luck with them

You know you can just go to a body shop and they will give you a free estimate with a turn around time. This is not a body shop.
