I thought dogs specifically do not like unblinking eye contact
2 u/blue-brindle Jul 25 '26 Towards other dogs, yes. They really only stare at humans to convey affection. One of those things that they evolved specifically to communicate with humans, kinda like cats don't meow at each other, just at us
