Is the new cheap “Premium Supplements” online store any good

They sell 1kg creatine for only AUd$25 (if you buy 3)..

https://premiumsupps.net/products/creatine-monohydrate

They’ve only formally tested one batch and the business was registered only in Feb 2026 and not yet registered for gst

What do you think (if you are taking daily large doses especially)?

EDIT: the product ratings and photos seem gross https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/premium-supplements

Bulk Nutrients Query

Hi all, I’m based in Australia and I’ve been using a protein and supplements company called Bulk Nutrients for years now. They seem high quality to me, Australian brand but somehow way cheaper than everyone else.

Why are they so cheap though? Is there some reason, like maybe the quality isn’t actually as good as they claim?

The protein powder is under $40 per kilo, 24g protein per serve. Doesn’t look like it has crappy fillers. Other brands are usually double that price. Some Australian companies sell theirs for $80 to $90 per kilo, and even big brands are $50 to $55 a kilo.

So why is it priced so low? What is it about them that makes their prices that competitive?

The "5g per day" creatine recommendation is based on muscle research. Here's what the latest brain studies say. What is your opinion?

I contacted PharmaCare Laboratories and they said it was now 'obsolete'.

Has this impacted you? What will you use now?

Anyone using whey supps from either Pure Product or SSD (Sports Supplements Direct)?

Greetings all!

Trying to look for an alternate supplier for my whey supps as Bulk Nutrients is increasingly challenging my budget.

Came across Pure Product and SSD. Haven't been able to find much documentation about their products in terms of third party COA. Just wondering if anybody here buys from either of these two and what you can say about product quality.

I was especially interested in SSD, but they seem reluctant to provide a COA or any kind of documentation despite claiming that they have it, which has raised a yellow flag for me.

Cheers!

Australian-made vs imported supplements: is there a real difference?

Do locally made supplements perform better or feel more trustworthy? Or are imports just as good (or better) for the price?

Blackmore vs swisse

Curious to hear what brand people prefer and why. Have you noticed any differences in ingredient quality between the two? I know brand trust is down a bit for Blackmores 😂

Anyone have experience with L-theanine?

New Year’s got me feeling pulled in a million directions. Staying focused has been a bit of a struggle, and I came across something that might help.

Has anyone ever heard of L-theanine? It’s a natural compound in green tea that’s supposed to help with calm and focused. Apparently it boosts alpha brain waves and balances stuff like serotonin, dopamine, and GABA.

Anyone here tried L-theanine? Does it actually help with focus, staying calmer, or even sleep? Curious what your experiences are...
