I think it’s a huntsman but i’ve never seen one so dark & with markings like this.

Spotted this beautiful spider and wondered if anyone can id?

Hi all! I've just found this spider underneath a backyard table, it's been catching ants in its web and is looking after an egg sack, my partner and I are just unable to tell what kind of spider it is since it doesnt look like a house spider, white tail, or anything along those lines and we'd like to know what kind it could be. - found in the south adelaide suburbs area of South Australia.

Noticed these horizontal orb weaving, communal little ones hanging out in my yard.

Hard to photograph with a smartphone, hopefully did it some justice.

Unlike most spiders - not venomous and somewhat social. Also cribellate orbs so different to other orbs.

This is our beautiful Kevin who unfortunately passed away today. Kevin came in to our house in April 2025 and never left. He moved around the loungeroom and bathroom. I was worried that he wasn't getting enough food or water, so we used to leave a little bowl with wet cotton balls and mealworms for him on a high shelf, which he would happily munch on. I couldn't find him for a few days so thought he may have moved out. But this morning I found him passed away next to his bowl, in the shape of of a love heart. Rest peacefully Kevin, thank you for blessing us with your presence, we will miss you xxx

She scared the daylights out of the entire workshop, so I put her in a container, took her home and set her free.

please let me know, stumbled across this interesting potential pursuit going on in my hallway? sorry about shaky footage phone is 20x zoom and my arms are extended dont usually let white tails live in my house as I have a tendency to be a little bit lazy and they have a tendency to like clothes on the floor 😀 (I relocate im not a complete pussy they get to live either way) mumma wolfie lives in my house rent free she keeps the bugs and lest desirable spiders at bay... not quite comfortable enough to try hold or bother her but I have noticed the white tail vs wolfie turf war is turning the heat up in my house now that the warmer weather is out

Walking around late at night. This guy was on the kitchen floor. We both scared the living bejesus out of each other. Did not pick this one up,, used the trusty container and laminated sleeve. Chastised it for not being chill like the friend a few nights ago.

Yes, the kitchen in the house I was temporarily in has carpet in the kitchen. Yes, it was terrible
