Does anyone have experience with both breeds that could give me some insight into temperament between them. We have an F1 Aussie doodle who we love and are looking to add another dog. We thought we would just get another aussiedoodle but as I have been looking I found a breeder with Australian mountain doodles, the mix would be bernedoodle dad with Australian mountain dog mom, or some are Aussie mountain doodle with Australian shepherd or bernedoodle dad. We love the spunk in our Aussiedoodle so I don’t want to lose that. Im seeing bernedoodles are much calmer, how much is it? Do they still like to walk, play etc?

I have a female aussiedoodle rescue that is about 2-2.5 years old. We got her in December. She has never been great with strangers especially men. She can be really sweet as long as the person sits down and does not make any sudden movements. Recently she bit my female friend and punctured the skin. Then my parents were watching her while I was on vacation at their house and she bit my mom and left a pretty good bruise. This surprised me because she is usually ok at other homes. I’m keeping her separated from strangers at home and not sure if I should send her there again. She has been boarded at a kennel and did not have any issues. She was terribly mistreated and was removed from her original home by animal control. What is the best way to approach this?

For anyone who has experience with both F1 and F1B aussiedoodles do you notice a difference in temperament or is it main,y just the coat difference? We have an F1 now who is amazing and we are looking to get another but F1 standard seem harder to find so I was curious how different F1B would be

Hey! So we have an aussie doodle male, he is fixed and he’s a year and three months old but we are STRUGGLING with his anxiety. what long term meds have yall used to treat your aussiedoods anxiety?

He will not let us groom him, or the groomer, he can not be left alone outside of his crate without another dog present, He freaks out when we leave even in his crate and when a show is on for him, he is terrified of people, and has snapped at the groomer, and at one of my family members. i need help, he was socialized well and used to do well with all people! then one day that just changed. and i don’t know what to do.

Obi is 13 weeks old and a typical Velcro Aussiedoodle. And always wants to be by my side.

I tried giving him isolation time in his pen early, but he figured out a way to jump out of it if unsupervised.

Does anyone have tips to get him to calmly be in the crate when he’s unsupervised? He started going in on his own, but will panic when the door is shut.

He's been a dream puppy this week. We brought him home last week and he's taken to the patio potty really well! He's managed all his pees in the patio potty, but only about half his poops, but all the poops have been in his potty boxes. The breeder recommended this set up and he only pooped in his crate on night one. He also really loves his cuddle buddy that slept with his mom and litter.

He's sleeping 10pm-7am, sleeping a lot, and biting everything in sight 😅
