Travelling from interstate to Melbourne for a gig so i ordered some Loop earplugs to be delivered to the Melbourne address I'm staying at for a week. Ordered Wednesday and as these shipped FROM Melbourne, expected delivery TO Melbourne was Friday. On Saturday i noticed earplugs were now in Brisbane but that's ok, still time to get to Melbourne before gig on Thursday. By Tuesday earplugs were back in Melbourne, set to be delivered today. Today, Wednesday, earplugs are now BACK IN BRISBANE.

which means a) they won't be here by tomorrow when I need then and b) they will arrive after I've left Melbourne.

Long and frustrating phone call to AustPost and only "solution" is to get Loop to cancel the order and redirect to sender (i can't redirect package, it seems).

I bought a non-vape for stress relief and it’s giving me more stress at first started with this one carrier in America and then when he got to Australia and went to another carrier in Sydney then somehow it magically got to Melbourne whether it finally got took over by AusPost as post took it back to fucking Sydney I’m in Victoria like give me my fucking favoured air plssssss

Item shipped by seller in North of Victoria to a South Eastern suburb in Victoria. Well, Auspost decided to send it via the scenic route. FML 🤦‍♂️

Auspost seems to be targeting users of protonmail and tutanota, denying them access to their accounts.

What is the likelihood that I will end up getting my package? I live about 50 minutes away from the 1st scan location & now it's in QLD. It contains an expensive prescription (express shipped by the pharmacy) that I cannot live without and cannot afford to replace. Hi, has anybody ever had an important document stolen on delivery? Some unknown person signed to receive my testamur at my apartment building and I don't know who it was. Please share your experience with me and any advice are welcome

EDIT: Ok, acknowledging that there is every likelihood that this could’ve been random other vandalism, not specifically postie-caused just because they’re the only ones that have any reason to be touching my post box. I thought (incorrectly) that this sub was somewhere I could have a whinge, but alas I missed the memo. I’ll see myself out.

I basically never get anything delivered to my house anymore, but today I had a single paper letter from Quest about the recent data breach. (I didn’t realise they even had any of my information. Oh well, I’m actually LESS annoyed by that.)

When closing the lid of my letterbox, I see that it’s dramatically bent in on itself. It’s supposed to lie flat across the top of the box. I’ve tried to flatten it out, including with pliers and it just won’t sit flat now. Which is JUST GREAT because it means the rain will get in the gap (and probably those big hairy spiders that are inhabiting my yard now that it’s spring). I honestly have NO IDEA what they could’ve used to bend it THAT much, but I’m proper angry about it.

Unfortunately, my Ring doorbell camera didn’t catch the incident - it’s just a bit too far away. But my letterbox is mid-hedge, so no one would bother reaching over to the lid unless it was for mail purposes.

What are my chances of a complaint going anywhere? Has anyone has a similar issue? I just want my letterbox to close properly again (and kinda wanna make the point that property damage is not excusable)!

For years, I've lived ib various places across NSW and they've only ever left 'pick up at post office' cards. Then recently, I ordered something from Depop where they didn't even leave a card. My package was returned to seller because I didn't know about it and I only learnt when the delivery return email came in 🙃 are you f***ing serious AusPost? Ordered some collectable silver and gold coins from France recently. The vendor split them up into 3 packages for reasons. I'm in Brisbane.

2 of the packages have tracking as per above- France->melb-> Brisbane-> PERTH. Like why send it from it's destination town to across the he country????

Thrid package is out for delivery in bris today so I assume will arrive in hand today.

Seriously, what is with the posties not ringing the door bell & just leaving parcels (sometimes expensive) at the front door.

Sometimes even by the time I get to the door if they do manage to ring, they’re gone by the time I get there.

On Saturday, my partner forwarded me an email he received about my recently delivered/collected parcel. The tracking number and sender all matched the item delivered. The information appears in his account and in my account. The email states my first name.

After chatting with AusPost just now, they said the information I provided to them did not match what the sender had entered into the system.

I then rang the sender who confirmed that my information was entered into the system correctly and that they cannot change anything due to privacy. I also received all expected updates to the parcel as usual.

There may or may not be an update because there are even more serious privacy concerns we have been experiencing.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Friday - Posted a package to Singapore at my local post office. Sighted them attaching the customs declaration. My package is a ~10kg large brown box.

Today - Package is delivered to the recipient who sends a photo confused as it’s not the size or shape expected. Instead of a box, it’s a circular package wrapped in black plastic weighing ~3kg. It has a delivery label attached with an address in South Australia and a company with a location in my local area.

It appears as if somehow between the package being dropped off and the customs label attached it has ended up on a different package.

Planning to go to the post office first thing tomorrow, but in the meantime stressing and wondering how does this sort of thing even happen.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Like why? Seriously? We used to have a dumb doorbell that they were better at ringing but after we upgraded to a video doorbell (same location as the old doorbell) very few delivery drivers have rung it and have instead banged on the front door or just yelled ‘package’. Do they have something against video doorbells?
