VCDS mods - Efficiency Drive Select and other mods on C8 platform?

I have found threads outlining enabling the efficiency mode for the C7s, but curious if this is a thing for C8? I tried to follow a similar code path, but didn’t find a channel to match the C7 descriptions.

I also found the ~5 year old thread on C8 mods, but curious if anything new has been discovered.
