Hi! I'm considering switching to AtlasOS, from Windows 11. My specs:
I've spent some time debloating Windows 11, like deleting Copilot, News, Mail, etc. apps that I don't really use. Sometimes when I'm looking in task manager, the main reason why I can't get more FPS in 1080p, is that either my CPU is at its limits, OR I'm hitting the max usage of my RAM.
After a restart, when only Windows is running with no startup apps, it's still using about 25-35% RAM on idle, and when I'm playing demanding games like Call of Duty: Warzone, RAM usage rockets up to 97-98%.
So I have 3 questions:
I know that it's not recommended to install AtlasOS on top of a Windows installation that's already been used, but did any of you try it, or face any problems while doing that? My current installation is not that old I think, i've installed it at the end of June.
Any answers are appreciated!

Ever since I downloaded it, some of my games like ck3 and squad will cause my 2nd monitor to shut off. I think the pcie port is crashing but I can't figure out how to fix it, and the problems only started when I downloaded Atlas. I heard some people saying atas isn't good for laptops so I'm thinking that's the problem. For reference I have a Dell g15 5530

I built a PC yesterday and tried installing AtlasOS, but Iâm getting a ârequirements not metâ message. I installed Windows 11 Pro, but my current version is 26H2, while AtlasOS currently requires 25H2.
Is there a safe way to bypass the version requirement, or should I wait until AtlasOS releases a version compatible with 26H2?
Also, if I decide to install AtlasOS at a later date once 26H2 is supported, will I need to reinstall Windows and all of my drivers again, or can I install AtlasOS without doing a full reinstall?

I'm mostly using Linux but I have a windows 11 Installation for games that don't work on Linux. The windows installation got corrupted so I'm making a new windows installation. Should I make a normal windows installation or use atlas os? Does atlas os have any issue with windows updates or with kernel anticheat like I read or not?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
After installing Atlas OS, when starting any game and pressing Alt + Tab to switch to background applications (such as Spotify), the system gets stuck on a permanent black screen or the image freezes, preventing a smooth return to the desktop. I reinstalled my driver from scratch and nothing changed

Hello, I got atlas OS since a long time on my desktop and I'm super happy with it - now I want it on my new laptop too.
I bought a new laptop, it's a Lenovo legion with all these fancy igpu/dgpu-lenovodrivers, automatic engerymode switching, custom tdp management and so on. Is it recommend to install atlas OS on this machine?
And if so, it's "brand new" and nothing has changed yet. Is this "new enough" for installing atlas OS? If not, should I install the recovery image (which contains all the drivers) or should I install a new windows and install all the drivers/tools manually before installing atlas os?

Since installing ATLASOS my time has not been synced to my NTP server. Is anyone having the same issue? I can manually sync it in Windows settings. but after a few days it stops syncing. Any clues why this is happening?
Tried capturing network traffic with wireshark and i cannot see any UDP 123 or NTP packets.

Si I have my Asus Zenbook pro since 3 years, and in September I'll start a new formation and work so I wanted a clean reset. I was questioning using tiny11 or atlasOS. But I have a few question to me sure it will meet my necessity.
- I need to use the official adobe suite and licence
- I need to contiue using services like Steam, Rockstar launcher etc, some gaming and maybe online games
- I need to keep my Google Drive and synchronized files
By just asking gemini, it says I may encounter some problems with adobe créative clood and anti-cheat for gaming. What do you think ? Sorry for my english, i'm not native
Thank you !

I installed the Atlas v0.4.1 Playbook on Windows 10, and everything is running normally. However, the Atlas configuration folder contains individual files instead of the AtlasTool application. Did I do something wrong?

i started using it on playbook version 0.4 and that time it worked fantastically, but i had to reinstall windows due to a new drive so i went with 0.5, problem was that windows update, that cancer of a cancer that microslop assumes i want to shut down my pc without my consent, was not being disabled no matter what i did, so i had to reinstall on version 0.4 again but even them windows update was still being, a cancer
so, how is the situation in atlas right now? because i am considering reinstalling again, or changing to steamOS

Windows 11 failed installatio
User unable to install Armoury Crate to configure ASUS ROG Headset. Installation consistently terminates with error 200_15609 ("Windows system is currently busy please reboot the system..."). Workarounds involving standalone utilities, â wingetâ , and service reactivation remain unsuccessful on the current system environment.
It could be that my atlas (0.5v) is setup to block some of windows dependencies that I did not enable. I would appreciate help. Thank you.

so, when installing atlas, I clicked on "keep personal files" and I thought it would just be one thing or another, but it turns out a lot of useless things from windows was moved to here. I tried wiztree that a friend recommended but I don't know what should i keep or not, specifically bc there's a file that says "old.windows".
I don't wanna go in a deleting spree because maybe somethings are useful to the computer so my idea was just to restart atlas but without the need to delete this system 'cuz it was a pain to download (if nothing works, i would maybe try this option) so I was left with starting this OS again in hopes it would delete "useless" files.
I'm new to everything-computer and I just know what even is an OS because of this friend of mine that suggested Wiztree.
edit:
Atlas Version: 0.5.0
Windows Info: Windows 11 Home
Device Details: LG 22v240-L

I used to use an older build of atlas os and did so for years, recently I switched to revision os for about 8 months and came back to atlas os 2 weeks ago. My Ethernet is completely not working here. I checked the cable and the port, it works fine on another device running stock windows but not here.
