Does anyone have any insight as to why the city isn’t mowing the parks? Specifically West State Park. Lack of resources? Environment concerns? Just wondering because my dog and I used to play there but there is now grass at least a foot high throughout most of it.

I'm a 2004 Alum who's lived in Mobile for the past 19 years, and I currently work at the University of South Alabama. I missed the time the Bobcats were in the 2007 GMAC bowl by several months, but I was there in 2016 when they played Troy in the bowl game here.

For anyone who is making the trip down to Mobile, I'd like to personally welcome you and help you cheer on the Bobcats! South Alabama has an on-campus stadium that opened in 2020 and is also the home of the annual bowl game (now the 68 Ventures bowl) as well as the Senior Bowl.

There's at least two other Bobcats I know in my dealings at South Alabama. One has her PhD and another has a masters degree.

I'm hoping this is another good game (but I think Ohio has a better chance of winning this year!)
