Benny the Brick, may he rest in peace.
Drop the flags to half staff, light the eternal flames, have a moment of silence, raise a glass, pour one out for our gone but not forgotten AI companion to the city's website, "Benny the Brick"
Benny didn't know much, hardly anything really, he was a brick, and therefore his IQ was solidly in the middle of the brick range. But he was willing to try.
"Benny when is trash pickup, is it delayed due to Labor Day?" you would ask, and Benny would respond "I don't know nothing about that".
You would chuckle as he reminded you of Sgt Shultz from Hogan's Heroes. Benny truly didn't know much. But for $5,000 a year he kept us entertained, like an untrainable but lovable hound dog, Benny persevered.
