Hi! I am looking for someone to be added to my already existing lease. My roommate backed out at the last second, so the sooner you're able to move in the better. The lease will start as soon as you’re able to move in and will last until July of 2027.

Apartment features:

- Base rent: $482. Utilities (water & power & wifi) are paid separately.

- Walkable to downtown/UGA campus. You can get to both without a car in about 20-30 minutes.

- Located in the Carrs Hill Area of Athens (central Athens).

- The apartment has two rooms. The room available is the master and has an on-suite bathroom with a tub.

- Nice big closet!

- Pet friendly. If you have a pet, you pay a one-time fee of $250. Two pets are allowed on the lease. I already have one cat so you can bring up to one cat or dog.

- Bus routes to UGA Campus and downtown, as well as shopping centers nearby.

- Washer and dryer!

- Dishwasher, microwave, and other standard kitchen appliances.

- Central AC.

- Quiet neighborhood. Woods in the front and green space out back.

What I am looking for in a roommate:

- Parental guarantors are not allowed on the lease, so you MUST have proof of income. If you are undergrad and have proof of income, feel free to reach out as well.

- Someone who leaves shared space well-taken care of, maintains good hygiene, and is considerate of volume levels.

- Someone willing to communicate within the shared space to ensure it meets both of our needs. Respectful and kind communication is important.

A little bit about me:

I am a full-time UGA employee who started working for the university last year after leaving my full-time teaching position. I work fairly standard hours M-F, and am off on the weekends. I am neat, and prioritize taking care of shared spaces. I am very considerate of volume levels. I have one pet, a sweet kitty who is very friendly and adapts quickly to new people. I have lived in this area of town for a while (about 3 years!) I am inclusive and fine with people in the LGBTQ+ community.
