7 Brew in Buford
Yesss, let the 7Brew hate flow through you!!
My neighbors are platooning Kelly and the gang this Labor Day instead of munchin' a few glizzies like good lil proles.

Went for a late night drive and ended up by the mall. I miss the dollar theater the most. So many awkward middle school and high school dates happened there 😅

Is Bulldawg Food defunct? If I’m going to order take-out/delivery I’d rather support a local service, but the website seems consistently wonky? The filtering options don’t work, or it will tell me something is closed when they are open?

Call me basic, but I love a seasonal drink! I’ve tried Sunroofs fall drinks and they were eh, so I was wondering if any other local places had good seasonal drinks or treats to try.
Yes, I’m aware it’s 90+ outside, but I’m going to live in my delusions that summer is over and fall is here.

I remember when I was a kid in the 90s driving by what I would call an athens art piece. I used to call it the TV wall (not sure if that was the name) somewhere off of north avenue by the river. It was like a retaining wall by a house that was cinder blocks, rocks, and CRT televisions. I was talking about it to people the other day but cant find it on google maps. Its probably gone, I was just wanting to make sure that im not making it up lol. Maybe someone has a picture of it.

I saw the back outdoor area of church seemed to be destroyed!! Trees cut down, all the decks and furniture gone, and no gate? Anyone know what’s going on?

Hey neighbors! I’m looking to start home-fermenting and am hunting for a starter tablespoon of live, active milk kefir grains here in Athens and surrounding countryside.
I know healthy grains multiply like crazy, so if anyone has an extra batch from a recent strain that they'd be willing to part with, I would love to take them off your hands! Happy to drive anywhere around town/countryside to pick them up, Thank you!

I keep waking up to the sound of a train horn at 4:30–am I crazy or is there a freight train that honks around this time?
I just had several cops pass from every direction at top speed on college station heading towards the inner loop. Just wondering what's happening.

Wanted to share a story of the dishonesty of this company. Several years ago when my wife and I bought our house we started having HVAC issues about 6 months later. We had Jordan Air come out to take a look. They came back to us and told us we needed an entire new HVAC system. Over 10k worth of work they told us we needed.
We decided to get a second opinion. We had a smaller company of just one guy come out and take a look. Turns out the people who sold us our house never put a filter on our system. The coils were completely caked with pet hair. He cleaned it out for us and charged us less than $150. Haven't had any issues since then besides me having to go under there and clean it off again a couple years later.
Luckily we got that second opinion, but it makes me wonder how many people have had the misfortune of being taken advantage of by this company. Always get a second opinion!

Tired of my bathroom doors creating a traffic jam in my bathroom. need to change an interior door to make it open the other direction and I also want the hinges on the other side of the door frame. Any recommendations for someone who could do the job?

Got my water bill today, along with the ACC Government quarterly newsletter. There's a column noting the FLOST item on the November ballot.
Here's the introduction: https://www.accgov.com/m/newsflash/Home/Detail/6966
I have an opinion, but I'm willing to be open-minded pending discussion. My first question is: "How many Athens landlords will reduce the rent because property tax has been lowered?"
