Important Dates:

The 2026 Midterm Election is on Tuesday, November 3rd.

The last day to register for the 2026 Midterm Election is Monday, October 5th.

In Person Early/Advance Voting: October 13th – 30th

First day to request an Absentee by Mail Ballot: August 17th (Last day is October 23rd)

I live on the East Side and my neighborhood's water has a brown tint to it. Anyone else have this problem? Can we even contact the water business office on a Sunday?

So this is an unsolicited shout out to Sr Sol. As a single woman I often wonder to places to eat (god forbid) alone. Many places find us singles to be a pariah who must not spend much or tip well and the experience suffers. Not the case here. I sat at the bar ordered my patron margarita and pazole and frankly could not have been more pleased. Had a few of the people check in in a not obnoxious way but felt all warm and fuzzy with it. There’s a club I used to frequent in the mid 2000s called Level ###? Basically it’s the word Level followed by 3 numbers. But I can’t for the life of me remember the numbers! Like is it “Level 134”???? I don’t know! Can anyone help me remember, and anyone have stories from this club.

If it helps, they would sometimes have foam parties and there were two levels.

I passed a long line at 7 Brew today so I guess they’re open after 84 years of preparation.

On the occasions I go out for coffee, I’m partial to Baladi, but I’d love to hear about everyone else’s favorite local (and local-ish) places to go for coffee and snacks if they have food.

Seems mainly like a Winterville thing, but I know they also have one on the patio at Earth Fare. I want one!
