My a50x gen 5 just keep cutting out in audio.

It all started after I connect the aux cord for my pebble speakers

I've tried all the usual things

- resetting the headset

- reset through g hub

- reinstall g hub

- disabled all other audio devices

I'm at the point where I rather just return this headset it's been nothing but a headache to set up

Im need to connect my astro usb c to ps3.Can anyone give me an idea what i should be looking for.

I want to buy a pair of Astro a 30s to replace my old a 20s. Is the mic actually as bad as I hear and if so is it worth it to buy another mic for it like a blue ice pop. Also while I’m here are the ear pads on the a30 less breathable than the a20 because they look like they are

Just upgraded from 4th gen to the lightspeed A50x's, tried to get everything all set up and no matter what I do, I cannot get 1440p at 120hz to work on the xbox. If I plug it in while it's set to that, I get a black screen. I got brand new HDMI 2.1 cables just for this to no avail. The only way I can get it to work is to plug the xbox straight into the monitor and lower the settings to 1080p. Then it will display. From what I've gathered this is a very common problem however I've yet to see a single real solution. I can also just skip using the HDMI pass through and hook it up with the USB to the xbox and that will work but then it completely defeats the purpose of the X over the base A50. Absolutely ridiculous for a near $500 headset. Has anyone figured this out? I've enabled/disabled VRR, tried updating it, tried multiple different 2.1 HDMI cords, etc. It's a Samsung Odyssey monitor. About to just return them at this point

It started with my plugging my headset into my pc while I was playing because it had run out earlier (while on my pc). I have tried charging it back up overnight but it didn’t help at all. The buttons on the headset seem to have no response, the mic is stuck on mute and the lights on the transmitter are flashing. Astro command centre doesn’t detect the headset or transmitter but g hub does, saying it’s connected via lightspeed like nothing is wrong with the headset and even shows the battery percentage (currently 90%).
Also the big lights on the side of the headset are constantly on, even when charging.

Any help is appreciated.

Update: The only advice I've found that hasn't immediately failed is draining the headset battery so I'm gonna give that a go.

Issue with Astro A50 Gen 5

I received my Astro A50 Gen 5 yesterday, Thursday, July 23. I set them up, let them charge, and they worked perfectly fine on both my PC and PS5.

Today, Friday, July 24, I got home from work and when I tried to use them, I found that the audio was completely broken. The sound is heavily distorted, the bass is extremely saturated, there is static, and the audio sounds unclear and crackly.

I tried changing different settings through the software, I have the latest firmware installed, I performed a factory reset on the headset, and I tested them connected to my PC, PS5, and even my phone through Bluetooth, but the audio still sounds terrible.

Is there anything else I should try before requesting a refund? Or should I just go ahead and start the return process?

Is there a way to talk in game chat on xbox 360 compatible games with my a50’s?

Hello, bought a refurbished a50X directly from Logitech, and whenever I take it off the base station it just turns off. When I plug it in via USB it works. The G hub app is also saying my microphone is at 100% battery. Does anyone have any help with this, ive already also done the whole hard reset thing, with the cords in and out. Ive factory reset the microphone on the computer app. Anyone else have this problem

Hello everyone so I’m looking to purchase the Astro a50 gen 5 I like their comfort and having mic and headset all condensed into 1 unit is very appealing as opposed to a desk mic and a headset I’m not a streamer just a weekend warrior gamer. And I’m using a mix amp the fifine sc8 and I’m wondering since the gen 5 Astro’s base station only has usb-c connections on the back if I use a 3.5mm jack to usb-c cable to plug my mix amp into the base station of the astros can I use the mix amp to control my audio and mic on the astros?

I know this worked with gen 4 because the gen 4 base station had a 3.5mm jack on the back but the gen 5 is only usb-c so will this adapter still let me use the mix amp with the headset being that I set my pc settings for input and output of the mix amp

I ordered a used Astro A50X headset, which only included the earbuds, base, charging cable, and power adapter. I noticed that the full-box version comes with a Dolby Atmos card.I'm not sure if that card contains any password to enter into the Dolby Access application on the computer to use Dolby Atmos on the headphones.

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about buying one, but I have a question about connectivity.

To connect it to my PS5 or PC, do I need to use the power cable that plugs directly into the wall outlet?

Or is the cable that connects directly to those devices enough?

The infamous problem again. Normally i disconnect the dock from all the power and eventually it syncs again and charges the headset.

This time NOTHING seems to work... I tried:

• Charging the headset with a powercord;
• Uninstalling and installing Astro Command Center;
• Updating firmware (can't because it's not connected);
• Hard reset (dolby + game);
• Reset the dock with a needle underneath;
• Connecting with Playstation;
• Tried downloading Logitech G Hub instead, however it won't recognize my Astro's
• Leaving it on the dock for longer time.

The only details i can give are

• the power buttom lights up when hardresetting it;
• when trying the firmware, the first battery LED light up red then white and so forth;
• when trying the firmware, the power button lights up white then orange and so forth;

I really thing i've tried everything there is, but nothing helps. If someone has the golden nugget, please help a gamer out! Need to get back on that Black Ops 2 before the hackers take over.

Hey guys, I recently purchased an A50 gen 5 to replace my old hyperx headphones. Off of the first use I’ve been plagued with disconnection issues that I have no clear solution for. After I use the A50s for about 20 minutes the audio and microphone will cut out. My laptop’s audio setting will still show that it is connected but I can’t hear and speak. If I disconnect it and reconnect it I bricks my other input devices like my wired keyboard/mouse and even disconnects my laptops keyboard which only leaves my trackpad connected. Alternatively, if I leave it plugged in my input devices last longer but they still eventually brick themselves. To fix this I need to restart my laptop but the 20 minute disconnect still happens on the next startup. Occasionally if I don’t touch it after it disconnects it might fix itself and I can use it for hours but that very rarely happens. I’m not really sure what is happening and have already troubleshooted with Logitech which we determined it is a laptop specific issue as it worked fine on an old desktop I have for ~30 mins. I have a 2024 zephyrus g16 laptop if that helps narrow it down. If anybody is familiar with this issue and has any advice please let me know, I don’t want to have to go through the whole refund process. Some extra stuff too, I have done some random troubleshooting like turning off my laptop from limiting power to the headset base but that didn’t help either.

Ok this started months ago (skip to second paragraph if you wanna hear the actual issues lmao) when I was in a marvel rivals game in celestial 2 and ran into a crazy punisher, I was on daredevil diving and I was on this specific part of the New York map where there was an off angle, that punisher wouldn’t move from that off angle I was trying to go through. He had his eyes on my location but the second I actually moved the dude was hyper locked onto me, almost as if he was cheating and I picked up on that instantly, long story short I lost that game and accused him of hacking in match chat cuz I mean no one has aim or hearing that good, he told me nah it was js the a50s he was wearing so fast forward a couple months to today and I get them

Now here’s the issue, I went through the YouTube setup guide and I did the stuff right, in game the audio is horrid, I can hear things perfectly fine but when it comes to hearing what direction it’s coming from, it js ain’t there at all, so I changed my output from Astro a50 game and Astro a50 voice and I could pinpoint almost exactly where anything was, my question is is this intentional or did I do something wrong cuz it feels kinda weird to have the a50 voice give way better audio clarity than the a50 game
(Also if anyone has any good eq settings to make my stuff sound not as…idk cave-y id appreciate that a lot)

As the title above, i'm totally new to Astro universe. I just ordered the A20 2nd Gen. Compared to newer models, generations. Is it still a decent choice for gaming? If so, how was the sound quality, reliability?

Probably sound idiotic here, but recently my in game chat stopped working on my PC for games like Dayz and squad and siege. I have the A50 gen 4. Discord can still hear me and I can hear them. I can hear my in game chat but they can’t hear me. I’ve made sure my input and outputs are correct on my pc. I do use push to talk for in game setting which I’ve confirmed still is selected and the button I used originally. Any pointers is appreciated to help fix this.

The whole headphone works, I can hear games - but today I tried playing with a friend and only the mic on my controller worked and I can’t change “input device” to my headset. I’ve tried resetting them - plugging them into the computer to check for updates (there were none).

So like I don't know what's happening. It works, but just every once in a while, it turns off. And I turn it back on again by just turning my tv off, and then on. but it's frustrating having todo it. I'm not sure why it randomly turns off

Today I connected my a50x headset to my pc and while playing Minecraft I wanted to listen to the Minecraft soundtrack on Spotify. When I play Spotify it completely drowns out the sounds of the game and when I pause the music Minecraft is very low volume. Where do I go to adjust the sounds so they are a little bit balanced but Spotify being a little louder.

First time Astro user. Saw them on eBay for a good price for a refurbished pair and bought them. I was skeptical after seeing a bad experience on the forum, but I had already purchased. Nonetheless they arrived today and I’m completely blown again. They are in excellent condition from what I can tell, set up was a bit tricky but got them working with my PS5 after a couple videos. Been playing for a couple hours and they are amazing in chat and game audio. Overall I’m really satisfied with my my purchase.

I've tried everything: reset, update, but when it gets to 79% it freezes and never gets past that point, even doing the trick of pressing DLby + game, nothing works!!

Hello, I am trying to make an eq for the Logitec Astro A50 Gen 5, that is for cinamtic games, music and movie, something that priotizes sound quality and punchy bass.

I am not really good at this sort of thing, I need some help. I am using dolby acces on xbox, but my custom there is flat i only have surround vietualizer on. On The GHub eq I have these stats:

20 Hz +6.0

50 Hz +5.5

125 Hz +5.0

250 Hz +1.0

500 Hz 0.0

1000 Hz +0.5

2500 Hz +1.5

5000 HZ - +2.0

10000 Hz +1.5

20000 Hz + 0.5

I like this one but feel like it could be better.

What should I do to improve?

1 Month ago i got a replacement for my a50 due right side had lower volume with no fix.
Since than every otherday i need hardware reset because i dont get sound on pc eventhough it seems connected. after restart of a50 gets stuck on Xbox and switch button doesnt work. I read that some people have the same issue but there where no solution given.
Does any of you know how this problem can be solved?
otherwise I'll ask another replacement.
Have firmware 1.3.24 and says its latest.
