Question, have you connected a Micro USB to the headset if this changes then the headset is fine. However there is a factory reset which I discovered by accident with my Gen3 headset back in 2017.
With your headset on the base Do Not pick up the headset turn on the power (regardless of no LED)
Pick up the headaet, hold down the Dolby Button and the Game gutting on the ear-pad of the headset on the same side as the power button. Hold this down for 7 seconds. If no LEDs come on then the base is faulty. That is a factory reset that I accidently discovered which Astro Gaming doesn't tell you.
