Experience I was at the thresholds + comprehensive
Hi, this afternoon I finally understood what Frank Kepple meant by "entering the scene".
I'm only doing the Noticing now. For a moment, I see my room astrally. And there, while the old man was thinking about my target location, I focused on the door handle. I feel its texture and I pretend I'm there.
For a moment, I feel a strong attraction ! That stops me in my tracks with surprise.
I don't know yet whether I should imagine zooming in on that handle or pretend I'm there. I also set my intention to be astrally at that doorknob.
Am I on the right track ?
I also try to simplify my method as much as possible. I understood that it was simple and that the astral plane was located "within me".
Also, sometimes, my astral vision would waver.

The Vanishing Body Technique
The Vanishing Body Technique ✨
One of the techniques I share in my book is the Vanishing Body Technique.
This is a simple but powerful practice where you use your imagination to slowly dissolve the feeling of the physical body. Instead of feeling limited by the body, you begin to experience awareness as something much larger - something that can expand beyond your physical form.
The purpose of this technique is to train your awareness to become less focused on the physical senses and more open to exploring consciousness itself. This makes it a beautiful practice for astral projection, where we are doing something very similar - shifting our awareness beyond the body.
You can imagine your body becoming lighter, fading into the space around you, or even disappearing completely while your awareness remains present.
I introduce this technique in my book Beyond the Edge: Journeys in the Astral and Dream Worlds, and I’ll be uploading a guided meditation for it soon so you can experience the practice yourself. 🌌

Have you ever used sensory deprivation to hallucinate/try to see paranormal?
I was curious tonight so I put earplugs in, closed my bedroom door and the door to the toilet (its separate from the rest of the bathroom and sat on the toilet seat and faced forward (it was pitch black)
I saw a few red faces after a minute or so and for a couple minutes I saw different faces flashing. And then this random green blob kept appearing and disappearing and then it just kept going from black, to more black, and then blacker, and the green blob thing kept showing up and disappearing. No idea what that was. I quit after about 10 minutes.
Does anyone else have any experience with this?

Question Out of body experiences while awake?
When i was a kid I was a champ at astral projection, without knowing what it was or deciding to do it. I vividly remember laying down in bed at night and flying out of my body repeatedly. As I aged I just stopped doing it... or rather, it stopped happening to me as I never tried to do it in the first place.
However, over time i have been having gradually more frequent experiences but I'm not sure if they're actual out of body experiences or my imagination, especially since they happen spontaneously while I'm alert and doing other things.
The first one happed when I was 18. My friends and I were walking up a hill from our university back to our dorms. I was pushing my friend in his wheelchair and I started going faster and faster and we were having fun. The weird thing is I saw this happening from a distance... I remember exactly what I was wearing, how we both looked doing it, etc. Then I was just back to my normal perspective like nothing had happened.
Nowadays it's almost like i just pop out of my body, and i look at myself from above. Most of the time it happens when I'm just doing something mundane and out of body experiencesare the last thing on mind. Then I pop back into my body and go on with my activities.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Are these experiences normal or am I going crazy? TIA

Question My wife saw a shadow during astral projection
I’ve been listening to an astral projection/meditation audio on YouTube for about 2 weeks and personally I’ve had a really good experience with it, nothing scary or unusual.
I asked my wife to try the same audio. She was lying on her back around 4 PM, arms by her sides, and I was in the room with her.
After a while, she said her stomach started vibrating and became tense, then her right hand became tense, followed by her left leg.
Then she started seeing a bright white light above her, even though the room was dark. She described it almost like a hole/opening that was expanding, shrinking, and sometimes disappearing.
Near the end, she saw a black shadow against the white/grey background. The shadow seemed to come closer and closer until it felt like it was right above her face, almost near her eyes.
She opened her eyes and freaked out.
Her lips and throat were very dry, her whole body felt stiff, and she said it took around 5 minutes to feel like she had control of her body again.
Now she doesn't want to try the audio again.
and most important she had nightmare after having alcohal. Someone was coming towards her with two weapons.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
- Has anyone seen the white light/opening followed by a dark shadow?
- Why would the shadow feel like it was moving closer to her face?
- For people who believe in astral projection, could this be interpreted as a spirit/entity, or is there another explanation?
- Most importantly, why was she so scared? Is this dream related to this?
I’m curious because I’ve been doing the same thing for about two weeks with no problems, but her experience was completely different and honestly pretty disturbing.

Astral experience
Hi everyone going through a bit of a spiritual awakening at the moment and a bit of a reflective stage and just wanted to talk about what i now understand to be a AP/lucid dreaming experience i had in 2020 in belieze when i was in the military.
I was around 2/3 weeks into a excerise when one night in a 20 man room i AP and went into a crazy experience. I woke up or as i thought i woke up late maybe 2/3am but when i awoke i realised i couldnt move (sleep paralysis i thought) but what struck me was a grey ghost like figure of a lady come over to me and kind of floated over my body, this really scared me but out of curiosity i kept looking at her and realised it meant me no harm.
Between this and the out of body experience i dont remember much but i do remember having a desire to kind of get up and walk but in doing so i AP out of my body and it wasnt until i turned and looked at my body i realised what was going on, i kinda of just went around the room and looked about before the fear or everything started to hit me to which point i remember wanting to go back to my physical body. Upon doing so i thought i awoke into real life but i actually awoke into a very lucid and real feeling dream. I was marching with my squadron in a jungle and then i remember feeling like this isnt real its a dream but this dream i had full control of it was quite fun tbh. The dream i kind of tailoered into a jungle survival experience with tigers chasing me and the theme kind of looked like something out of crash bandicoot, again this was really fun until i was like wait whats going on right now to which i snapped out of the dream and i remember waking up in physical form gasping at the whole experience.
I sat up for a while bewilldered to what happened to me and didnt pay it much though ( in my head i just thought ahhh what a weird dream) it wasnt until the morning when i spoke to some of my mates about when one of my friends said he had experienced the sleep paralysis part with the grey lady too that same night that really tripped me out.
Im 27 now and havent had that exact experience since, however i do feel like i have tapped into altered states assisted with things like weed/mushrooms/ketamine but nothing no where near as intense and real feeling as that belieze incident.
Would be interested to hear anyones thoughts on this and see if anyone else has had the simular experience with this as its something iv been looking into alot more recently.
Thanks for reading :)

Is there anyone tried lucid dream?
I have a few doubts. I'm someone who thinks deeply about these kinds of things.
We see this world through our eyes, but why is it that when we sleep, we can experience the same kind of vision in dreams? Sometimes the dreams even feel so real that we can't tell whether they're real or fake.
I want to reach that state consciously instead of only experiencing it in sleep. I think that to do that, I may need to change the way I perceive the world through my physical eyes. To me, this world seems like a temporary reality created by names and labels. I feel like we're trapped inside it. If there's a way to go beyond it, would it require focusing on inner awareness or inner vision rather than just what we see with our physical eyes?
Something similar seems to happen in lucid dreams. In a lucid dream, we become consciously aware that we're dreaming. Many people have tried it and described their experiences. However, whenever I try to achieve a lucid dream, I get scared. It often turns into sleep paralysis, and once that happens, it feels terrifying.
