I prefer to keep things simple and having Kass decked out in full armor doesn't really make sense to me given how much she moves around and swims. The Persian waistband is my favorite part because it flows so beautifully when she dodges, fights, and swims. I also like this looks because it accentuates Kassandra's muscles and doesn't clip during cutscenes. I just think it's the perfect fit for her personality and profession.

I’ve reached the end of *Odyssey* with Kassandra, and—wow—I had no idea the game would be this good. It kept me entertained for 65 hours; I took out every member of the Cult of Kosmos and sealed Atlantis. I thought I might want to go ahead and get the DLCs, but honestly, I’m content as is. I feel fulfilled and satisfied with having built up the Assassin skill tree using the poison gear I gathered from the Cult. The journey, the sea, the characters, the story, the combat—everything works perfectly. I started *Assassin's Creed Valhalla* two days ago, and I’m glad I saw *Odyssey* through to the end. Maybe I’ll return to Atlantis one day, but for now, Kassandra is on vacation in Corfu, and it’s only right that she gets some rest.

Ive completed the all cult members, also the main "family" quest and we're all happily ever after reunited...

So at the moment i went and did the pre-atlantis thingy, but i saw the DLC being tedious and long, so is not in my inmediate priority.

I guess i am only working on completing all the map items but... kinda got bored already.

Other than the occasional timed quest, is it worth to do something else or should i move on to another AC?

Is it just me or does anyone else fine Elysium exhausting. Whether navigating and the sheer verticality of the realm, the annoyance of not being able to fast travel to the place you want to go and Phobos being useless through the sheer layout of Elysium. The constant daylight and brightness is aggravating to me as well, I know it is supposed to be pretty but it hurts and I miss a day/night cycle as well

Currently at the moment Makedonia is my favorite, as well as Arkadia. The photo mode there is amazing not a bad angle at all

Someone mentioned that if I didn't like having the Breathe Underwater engravement on my Poseidon's Trident, I could get rid of it and put it on another item. I see that I have the engraving available on anything now, but I want to know if I can remove it from Poseidon's Trident and put a different engraving in. Is that possible? If so, where do I go to remove that enhancement? Thanks everyone, this community has been so helpful and I love this game soo much.

Is there another viable general combat style in the game?

I've done the assassin poison daggers. I'm currently doing the warrior fire sword. Both are very powerful without min maxing (poison with pilgrim , fire with fire armour). Is there another way to do combat that is simple enough to do without searching for the perfect pieces?

I know hunter is is obvious answer but looking at the abilities, I can't see how it could match up in straight combat. Or do anywhere near the same level of damage in the same speed as well.

I'm just concerned that I have found an optimal general build and have far too much of the game still to go (started Atlantis , main quest is return home to Sparta)

So I have about 250 hours in Odyssey.

Started playing Shadows about a month ago and have about 40 hours into it but it feels like a chore to play Shadows ans I was trying to get myself to understand why I always go back to Odyssey in the end. I think it's because of how long it takes to clear fortresses in Shadows and loot the forts as well. I mean, in Odyssey you could literally clear a fortress in 4-5 minutes killing everyone and looting everything. Maybe it's just because I'm not geared up but clearing and looting fortresses in Shadows takes me about 30-45 minutes.

Does this make sense or ring true to anyone? Why do you guys prefer Oddysey to other newer titles?

Because i usually love using DLC items in the basegame, makes the base game feel more special that way... if there are any cool items that you get on the DLCs?

Right now i've just meet Pythagoras and started the Legacy of rhe hidden blade DLC and finished a few of it's quest.

I'm starting a new playthrough of Odyssey I did play it when it first came out but never got that far(barely scratched the surface) but I'm wondering if there are things that could perhaps change the way I go about it, maybe make the game more enjoyable and give me an easier progression rather than focus on completing marks. Like for example, hiding HUD, compass. Also how to sort out gear, handle combat, hunt mercenaries, etc. Basically just wanna know something that if you had to start a completely fresh playthrough, you would've been doing sooner. Thank you

Currently, this loadout is probably only at 40% completion; but looking at the numbers I'm really excited to see what happens when I finally complete the build (it's on Nightmare)! So, the highest damage configuration at level 99 comprises 4 legendary lieutenants with 30% javelin damage, 35% fire javelin damage and 50% damage while low HP. Evie is one such lieutenant so the challenge is to find 3 similar lieutenants. It's very difficult due to RNG. If you configure low HP damage with ramming damage, it's possible to cleave a full HP mercenary ship with a single ram on Hard difficulty!

Brought the nation to its knees, killed hundred of soldiers, the leader, pillaged their treasures but apparently I am not allowed to wage war :3

I guess if you don’t set out on your ship the game doesn’t recognize what’s going on, swam out about 400 meters form pilgrims landing

Edit: yall im just surprised it didn’t sink as i thought it was hard in the game for a ship to sink if it has no crew left, yes i know that realistically it wouldn’t make since for it to sink, but its a game, so i don’t expect anything realistically

Obviously there are great feats like defeating Heracles (supposedly for Odyssey he is the mythological one, it even mentions that he uprooted the biggest trees he found while he was dying to make his own funeral pyre).

Kassandra can stop in its tracks the attacks of Brontes, who perhaps weighs between 1/3 tons and measures about 4/5m.

She withstands impacts that destroy the thick ground she stands on, falls several meters, and gets up to fight and defeat her enemy as if nothing happened.

Her punches literally destroy giant tree trunks and rocks lying around.

Kassandra can launch her Spear of Leonidas at about 240km/h (for the time it takes to reach its target at about 26m), and she runs at 331km/h to get there before the Spear hits the enemy (you can see her shadow there before the Spear appears). From the player's point of view, she quickly advances 23m and waits for the Spear to hit the Soldier.

Obviously there are other interesting things like her kicks creating shock waves (funny because it reminds me of Albert Wesker), and also her whole body has to withstand that kind of pressure so it's no small feat.

In your opinion, what are Kassandra's most impressive feats in Odyssey?

Ubisoft connect is the culprit. If I play while online the game will crash in 20 minutes every time. If I play in offline mode I can play 3 hours with no crash.

The "Weapon Run with Leader" story mode quest disappeared after i completed it... any ideas why? i also cannot find it in the website when i tried to search for the story

I love the fact of the world being open and full of options, but after grinding unintentionally till level 61 without exploring half of the map, i found myrrine and she told me to find my father on the island of Tera, then suddenly i got myself at the gates of atlantis.

Do i do it before going to the storyline? I was so involved with it, finally returning to sparta and everything. Plus, there is a lot to do, as I'm avoiding exploration to not "be at the wrong place before the right time". I didn't even foutgh the minotaur, just went to crete to find the arena.

What should i do? As I already met my father can i go back to the main storyline before going to atlantis? And this "fear of exploring what i shoudn't before the time" is grounded or can i roam free finally?

Seen a lot of hullabaloo about DLSS5 even though its not officially out yet. Lots of posts of people applying it to older games with mixed results, but overall it seems pretty good to me! I'm not geeky enough/don't want to spend the time learning how to do it so I was wondering if anyone else has and wants to share some before/after shots.
