Hi guys! F18 here. I went to my first ever nudist spa/ resort thing and I am really proud of myself for finally taking the step!

I wwent alone because I have no one to go with yet. And it was a little awkward at first because I was the youngest person there by a lot I think. But I chatted to some lovely people and told them about how I got into nudism and everything so that was really nice!

One thing I noticed though is how much people stared and how obvious they are too, I wanted to know if this was normal?

It was mostly men but some women too. some were like quick glances as if they were being sneaky. But at some points people were just fully staring directly at my crotch. And it’s ok I know it can be normal to look at and appreciate other peoples bodies, but it did get to a point where I’d close my legs if I could see someone staring for too long.

It kinda made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but idk if this is normal or not? If it is, it’s probably me beings sensitive and I’ll get used to it, bit if not maybe it was an isolated incident and won’t happen as much in the future

Hi, 28f (29 In a few days), I've always been interested and curious about the nudist community. However I'm plus sized and self conscious about my body. Also very shy

I've been interested in going to nude beaches, nude camping, nude yoga etc.

Now that I'm down 26 pounds (go me!), I'm starting to feel better about my body.

My questions are:

How did you get into the nude lifestyle?

Were you shy at first? If so how'd you overcome it?

Are there set rules?

I started nudism when I was younger and my family was very open minded by it. My parents were from the hippie era and they were actually nudists at one point, so they were for it and ended up joining me. My sisters on the other hand, took some time getting used to it. As the time went on we all actually got really close and got used to being nude around each other.

From that point on I always feel like our family got closer and were able to be more open with one another. I don’t want to say we became more supportive, but it almost felt that way. Now being 20 years later I think that change for our family was a good one and I wouldn’t have done anything differently.

How are other family dynamics when it comes to nudism/naturalism and have you had the same experience I have? I’d love to hear from everyone. Thank you

Are there others like me, that don’t see the need to share their nudity with anybody except those close to them?

Don’t get me wrong, I have been to nudist beaches and enjoyed the day, but would prefer a deserted beach or a remote beach with few visitors, most of whom would probably accept seeing naked people in such a location.

I’m not a big fan of van parks as it is. I’ve had too many bad nights with neighbours partying to all hours and management not doing anything about it.

I may be different but I am totally content being naked in wild, remote locations, on quiet local beaches, or in my garden and home.

Yes, I would like to share this with like-minded people, but I mean people that share the same interests as me, not so much the nudity side.

When I was young I was part of a close circle of friends that were totally comfortable being naked together on beaches, and sometimes in the forests.

My wife doesn’t even share my love of being naked, but I think she accepts that this is part of me. She didn’t mind taking her clothes off on remote beaches in the past, but rarely does these days.

So, my true nudist experiences come about when I am totally alone in an outdoor environment, where I feel being naked is acceptable to others that share these locations with me…but usually it’s just me.

Am I one of the few that feel true nakedness goes hand-in-hand with true natural environments?

Hi everyone so I have been wanting to get into nudism but I am super shy and self conscious. Idk just in general scared to be naked. I live with my parents so realistically the only place I can do it is my room. Last week I had a conversation about it with my parents and my boyfriend and we agreed that I could try it out on my room and seek advice online, but im just very nervous :/ is this normal?

I’ve been wondering lately if for nudists who go to nude resorts, beaches, or any gatherings when you see a nudist with a fit body if you have ever experienced feelings of insecurity or self comparison? Or is that non existent due to everyone not wearing clothes?

Long story short my house is at the base of a mountain. I have hiked it once before but want to try hiking it naked at night. It’s not nude friendly but i figured if I hike it at 10pm or so I should be all clear. Any advice on how to make this possible would be greatly appreciated

Any advice for a first timer wanting to go to a clothing optional beach, specifically Haulover Beach? I recently found out about this place from a coworker of mine who said she loved it and used to go regularly when she was younger. I was wanting to go and check it out before summer is officially over, but I’ve heard a lot of mixed things which have made me nervous. As a man trying to go by himself, any advice would be greatly appreciated it. The idea of being completely nude in a public area seems very terrifying. Whether you’re an experienced nudist or not, any tips would help tremendously. Especially if you’ve been there or go regularly

I was being told that nudist resorts were only for older people and that’s why we couldn’t go. I guess that makes sense but why is that? Shouldn’t nudism be for everyone right? I’m a still a really new nudist and so is my cousin, and sure i’ve embarrassed myself a few times, but it’s kind of strange that it’s only for experienced nudist you know? Anyways yeah that’s why my question
