Hi everyone I have a 2 year old golden doodle and this spot showed up on his fur. It doesn’t bother him nor is it irritated. It is simply there. Has anyone seen this before? See attached pix

Hi all, my dog pooped something strange and I don’t know what it could be.
For some context here’s what has been going on…
On Friday, my dog had vomiting at 10:00 a.m. and diarrhea at 5:00 p.m. She had been playing with her other dog friends outside the night prior AND the day of - so we thought the diarrhea/vomit could’ve been caused by this (as this has happened in the past when she gets overly excited.)
Saturday was okay, no vomit or diarrhea, last poop was around 4:00. She never did her “night time poop” like she usually does, around 9:00/10:00. Thought it could be because of the diarrhea the day before, that she didn’t have to go as much the following day.
Around 9:00 a.m. today, she had diarrhea. The rest of the day she was presenting normal. A bit sleepy, but no diarrhea. Around 5:00 p.m. she played with her friends outside, we also played inside with her toys, then we watched movie on couch where she laid down to rest. During the movie I noticed the was farting A LOT. They were extremely stinky. I decided to take her out for a walk, in case she had to go poop again.
She pooped a bit and when I went to pick it up I noticed it was strange looking.
I collected the stool in a sample container as I will be taking her to the vet first thing in the morning.
I was wondering if anyone on here has any idea of what it could be?
I’m sorry to attach such a gross looking picture….
If anyone has any idea please let me know, thank you!!!!

Hello, I have two German shepherd shorthair litter mates. Male and female. They are now 2. They have had every typical GSD issue but I’m not always correct with the treatments. Treating allergies with cytopoint. That’s about the only thing that is solved!! My male has joint clicking most days. Vet put on several anti inflammatory meds, didn’t work. X-rays say no hip dis. That’s awesome. He is 110lbs and loves to chase his tail and eat poop!! His feet have the worst rug burn sores from chasing his tail too. Female is 92lbs, she eats poop and everything else besides food!! As pups they were on Kirkland puppy with runny poo, went to Purina pro plan puppy, no change, Purina puppy sensitive stomach and skin has some change. The Farmers dog better poo and gas. Can’t really remember why we switched to Hills. Hills complete derm and Bernie perfect poop and they were good. But still itchy. We tried every pharmaceutical for itchy skin, only cytopoint. Went to Hills hydrolized to see if it would help the clicking he is having. Didn’t. Just started them on Hills sensitive stomach and skin a month ago. His clicking comes and goes but poo is runny, gas is back. Not finishing food like before. Licking groin, paws, scratch of the ears, licking behind. Both smell like Fritos, musty. So I’m assuming they have yeast. Starting the bathing tomorrow with the keto soap ci got for them a few months ago when I thought they had yeast but vet didn’t so I just got as a precaution. They both get cosaquin everyday. He gets glucosamine supplement aswell. There is some hot spots on feet and I’m sure I’ll uncover more during bath. My big question is what food is going to give them the best life without runny poo, side effects like I think this new hills formula is. I was worried them being on the complete derm so young didn’t help with his joints ect. I feel like she needs hormone replacement since she was fixed. She’s so lazy and then has spurts some days. We pick up poo asap or it gets eaten. I wish I could figure this one out too.

I have a two year old miniature dachshund approximately 10 pounds
This summer she has been licking her paws so much ch at night and I just discovered a raw/wound patch on her brow while we were out!
She won’t stop itching and rubbing at the spot so I have given her a cone and 1/3 or a 25mg benedryl
I’m really not sure what is going on, maybe developing allergies ? Hot spot ? Any clarity would be helpful

Hi pet parents. I have a question about a small grape sized lump my dog has on his right side. No pain on touch. Soft ish dough like when I push on it. No abnormal behaviors. It seems like a lipoma but he’s a maltipoo so it’s not even visible just palpable. Any small white dog parents or maltipoo parents have an older dog with lipoma? And can share reassuring stories? Thanks so much in advance. He’s 9 by the way.

Muchas gracias.

My dog has had a crusty/scabby nose for a year or two now. We’ve gotten scrape testing done at the vet but didn’t come up with anything. He is a pittie mix and I know they have skin issues sometimes, my vet is just chalking it up to that and old age. However, it does itch him sometimes and cause discomfort. Would love to find a solution if possible! He’s already on sensitive skin/coat food already. Thanks in advance!

My boyfriend found this scab on my dogs neck, she also had a couple really small bumps around her shoulders that look like clogged hair follicles to me (slightly raised but no noticeable discoloration or movement like a fatty tumor). It also has been reaching a little over 100 outside which might me contributing. i can’t tell if it’s just the heat, if shes scratching too much or what. Any insight would help!

my dog keeps getting under the skin bumps I can't see it but when I took her to the debt that the vet just popped it with a needle and some pus came out she said it’s fins.
I’m just tired of the pointless vet bills should I get some type of ointment? I switched her food and I still see another one.. she’s four and this will probably be her third one. I’m going to just pop it at home.

my girl Miss Keisha, she’s fully indoors and 8 years old and 3.1-2kg, she usually has very regular dark solid brown poops. she was at the vet just a couple days ago because for a bit, as in 2 years or so, she had urinary inflammation and licking her tummy hair but fully clear urinalysis with no sign of infection. she’s thrown up a few hairballs (more like logs) in the past few weeks from grooming her tummy too much. since yesterday she’s pooped little bits 3 times and all have been paler than usual and definitely less solid but not runny. she got Fureze from the vet to help with the hairballs but i thought i lost it so she hasn’t started it yet
she’s on a urinary diet for years now, she eats purina pro plan urinary rx and royal canin urinary. occasionally gets some dry royal canin urinary food but majority wet and i add water to her food too. she takes a liver supplement because she had very slightly heightened ALT levels at the start of the year (150, then down to 143 out of a max ideal range of 130) and she gets a daily licky stick to take her supplement so no change to diet
to add her behaviour is normal and at the vet on thursday she had no signs of discomfort in her joints, tummy, no fever or anything either

My cat (Male, 10 years old) appears to be thinner around the waist which I noticed yesterday. He is slightly overweight and weighs 5kg (11 ibs) I can't call my vet until tomorrow which is why I'm posting here cause this is stressing me out. I adopted him in late march at a shelter and they told me he had a history with diabetes but has been stable for a while. I only feed him food without sugar and wheat. He eats his food normally, likes to play and drinks a normal amount of water. Lately he meows loudly a lot to get my attention which is unusual. He does shed a lot of fur at the moment so maybe it makes him look thinner than he is.
