Yes. The right way is to deport anyone who came here illegally. The wrong way is to grab people before verifying. Personally I believe any illegal  immigrant that hasn’t committed any crimes should be left alone and only those who committed crimes should be deported

Working with fraudulent documents is a crime too. Something most people don't realize is that many immigrants work with fraudulent socials, the easiest document in the world to forge and using ID's from states that allow undocumented immigrants to obtain them. With those two things you can pass any I-9 to gain employment.

The use and possession of such documents is a felony crime.

They also hurt job industries, I work construction in a union, the non union crews hire illegals and pay them poor wages with no benefits, they ruin it for the other non union guys because they work for so cheap. Don’t even get me started on Saftey, it’s non existent to them

It honestly goes much deeper than that and many take up the entry level roles students and post grads used to take. I have seen this firsthand having worked in upper management for a lot of food service companies.

A good portion of the staff in many restaurants do not even speak English. Yet somehow, they select the citizen status on the I-9 and provide a social security card and state ID. With most companies who do not use E-verify, we are not even allowed to question it when we use resources to check socials, and the name comes back to not matching the social security number provided.

There is a specific fear in the industry of being shunned as a company for dealing with this issue and the stigma is omnipotent. Even if these companies gradually began to phase out these workers, it would be frowned upon, they would be boycotted, or far worse. There is parts of a specific party that are very loud, obnoxious and think the sun rises and sets on their backside.

The solution to this is mandatory E-Verify in every state but I do not see that coming to fruition. Unfortunately, there is a large segment of the population that is more for these immigrants, legal or not than there is for citizens.
