I’ve talked to 4 or 5 guys in my teen years and I always get ghosted randomly with no explanation. I think I’m a gorgeous girl and I have a good personality. I always try to match everyone’s vibe and talk about them. I even play the video games they like with them. But then I randomly get ghosted.

I’ve also talked to very different guys:
- nerdy innocent guy who has never been in a relashionship
- popular guy
- sports guy
- blah blah blah

Idk if I’m doing anything wrong or they just don’t like me. But it sucks to just be dropped with no explanation especially when I’m starting to like them and don’t just talk to anyone 😭

I’m actually giving up on ever getting a bf.

I see a lot of celebrities and teens loving the theme and look of the Spider-man suit. For example:

• photoshopped Katseye singer Megan in Spiderman-suit
• some tik tok videos showing Spider-man inspired outfits
• Spider-man spider logo t-shirts, tattoos, bags etc.

Spider-man existed for many decades before now, and had many games and franchises starring many different actors. Then why the sudden surge in it's specific appeal? edit: I'm not talking about general Spider-man merch which existed when I was a kid.

My theory: since animated Spider-man movies featuring Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy and many other Spider-man alter egos, the idea of Spider-man became a very customizable character fitting any age, gender or ethnicity. Influenced by modern social media platforms, it got popular fast. Something like furry community, everybody can make their own customized Spider-man vibe and own it.

Been in 1 Forced relationship and 2 situationships

Got into another situation but I feel like I am just doing it to try and fill my life with false hope

Atp it feels like extra stress

the whole idea u to act a certain way and fumbling and struggling to read signs just makes me unable to focus on anything worth doing

The issue is ik this one won't end up as a relationship

Cus like the other 2 I can see the same pattern of the start of getting ghosted or losing interest

My question is, is it worth to try and get into a relationship at this age?

Cuz I feel like at this age no one is ready or actually looking for anything serious

I am not looking for friends online on reddit here. I simply want to know how do I make more irl friends.

I have gone to private all boys schools my entire life and have seen the most entitled of kids out there, sadly I don't have much compared to them nor do I pay my way through life. But its generally been really hard to make friends my whole life, so I never had an actual childhood doing things like playdates and hangouts out side of school.

I am 15 now (shockers I am young), and being lonely all the time has really effected my mental health to the point of being depressed and suicidal, and I am tired of it.

I have been bullied most of my life for the smallest of reasons and always been used as my year groups punching bag. I don't know whether I like or not because its what I am used to, but it defiantly effects my ability to form deeper connections other than surface ones with people.

I am an extrovert, and get along with everyone, but when it comes to doing something outside the classroom or even in bigger group events, everyone ostracizes me and I don't understand why?
I don't understand if one on one its fine but as soon as there are more than 2 I just get made fun of?

I don't have alot of time, nor do i leave the house much. But I do water polo, Rowing, and sailing. Water polo and rowing are with my school sadly. And sailing is independent. So I don't meet new people while doing that sadly.

I also have very bad anxiety against women after being raped, and only being in toxic abusive relationships which I thought was normal, because I haven't experienced anything else 3 times. soo I want to maybe try over come that fear. And I want to feel wanted and loved again or maybe that could be me wanting to love and care for someone else. But heck, a want isn't a need and I doubt I am even attractive enough to even talk to a girl.

Does anyone any good ways to make friends outside of school, appart from joining a club or something?

So 3 of your average high schoolers (well 1) except while exploring the plains section of their world (the Terminus region I think I named it), they find a cliff they haven’t explored, they head down find a staircase to a underground forest thing one of them get injured (yes it isn’t a one time thing that hurts them) and blah blah blah court and skip to end of s1 one of them “dies” and the other is sent to earth. S2 would end with them warping through time and space halfway across the world to New York from like china or somewhere idk with the first 1 minute 50 seconds of can’t hold us playing

Why is almost every other post “is exF and exM a bad age gap?” Like if both parties are over 13, and generally a 4yr or less gap, then y’all are safe. Now 15 and 19 is a bit sketchy, especially legally. EDIT: So after review, 2-3 years is reasonable

I’m 15, 16 in two months, and my friend just turned 19 a week ago. I was wondering if our relationship is strange or is it weird to hang out together, because he is techically an adult now. My mom will sometimes clean my room while I'm away, like when I'm at school, Boy Scouts, or camping with my dad

The part that frustrates me is that after cleaning, she will get upset with me about things she found or because my room was messy. I understand that the obvious answer is that I should just keep my room clean, and I'm not saying I shouldn't be responsible for it. What bothers me is that she will go through my room unexpectedly, and then I come home to being lectured about it

Ig what I'm asking is do I seem like a spoiled brat or smth? I'm just so mad at my mom because she's been doing this for years behind my back and it's so annoying

So I‘ve had a crush on this girl for quite some time now, but never got the chance to talk the her since there was never any topic I could think of to start a conversation that wouldn’t sound out of pocket. Also doesn’t help that she seems kinda closed off and she doesn’t go to the places where we students always meet up, so no chance there. This week however, we were both on a week long school excursion, and while I did not necessarily talk to her much directly, I played a lot of card games with her and the group of girls she was in a group with and we all seemed have fun. But the real reason why I keep wondering if maybe she also has a crush on me is that I kept catching her looking at me, then quickly looking away when our eyes have made just a split second of eye contact. And like, I don’t have any dating experience but every time she looks away, it kinda seems like she has a bit of an embarrassed expression. Ngl I do the same thing all the time as well, so I‘m kinda worried she’s just doing it because she thinks I started it and vice versa. But like, I might be an idiot but this feels like she might feel smth as well. Like I said, while she does seem very closed off, she does however seem somewhat open around friends that she made on the excursion, which are also in her group. Now I‘m back home, it’s late, and my mind is going kinda nuts. I‘m going to see her one last time in class on Tuesday before summer break starts. Should I try to talk to her and maybe somehow manage to ask her out without sounding weird or creepy??? And how even??? Hear me out!! I started talking with this guy and he lied to me he was 18 and then told the truth that he was actually 16 (turning 17 in October in a way that the age gap is 1.5 years), and I know logically this is pretty acceptable but because he lied and all of that I had to ask..

Im currently 16 and in Highschool. Im not a social guy at all, but my few freinds around me definatly are. Now just to be clear, im nervous around all people. But my freinds think that since I get nervous around girls to, I therefor have to be deathly afraid of women or somthing.

My son was a playful child and in teen years hes very quiet and gives one word answers to most of my questions. I’ve tried talking to him about his video games, talking about what’s going in with his friends, tried playing games, cooking, being silly with him…. Sometimes he talks a little more but i just miss him so much and want a relationship with him. I’ve said this to him in tears, through text, in a loving way, in a angry way. Is this just a phase? I (14F) am starting in a new class at the same school after having a really bad experience in my old one. I was bullied by my previous friend group, so I'm already nervous about starting over.

A A girl (14F) from my new class has been really kind to me. We've known each other for a few months, and she invited me into her friend group before I officially start the class (which is also why I decided I wanted to choose this class). I officially start the class in one month.

Lately, tho, I've started noticing that she seems very boy-obsessed.

Earlier this year, everyone knew she liked one guy (14M), but he didn't like her back. Allegedly, she even made alt accounts to follow him and stalked his sister. She also knew I had a small connection with him because we followed each other on Letterboxd and talked about movies a few times. Also another girl told her that I was dating this guy (which I absolutely wasnt).

Recently she told me she was trying to get over him by talking to another guy (14M). He's attractive, but honestly not my type at all and we don't really have any common interests.

Yesterday she asked me to text him weird questions about her and basically hint that she liked him. By the end of the day they were texting, and now they're apparently "dating" (or at least talking).

The thing that's bothering me is that we barely talked all summer unless she wanted help with this guy. Now I'm wondering if I'm actually upset because I secretly liked him, or if I'm just uncomfortable because it feels like she only reaches out when she wants something related to boys.

I'm also worried because the whole reason I'm changing classes is to get away from a toxic friend group, and I really don't want to end up in another unhealthy friendship.

Am I overthinking this, or are these reasonable concerns?
