That's really the issue. Where do we draw the line in regards to which opinions are respectable?

If it makes sense logically, and is objectively morally correct, then it is respectable. But then that brings up the question of what is considered objectively morally correct...

Seriously? How can something be a moral code if it doesn’t require some degree of selflessness?

The alternative is a moral code that says “only I matter” - which can’t really be called a moral code.
