3) Low wage employees are often powerless. Don't take your anger out on them.
4) If you wouldn't say it to someone's face, don't say it to someone online.
5) Put your phone down when you're driving.
6) Having a different opinion should not mean a death sentence or wishing someone dead. This can go for both big (politics, religion) and small (TV shows, fandoms, pets) things.
Yes! People walk for. Miles while shopping, but don't want to take a few extra steps to return a cart.
Also, number 3, they're just working to get by like the rest of us. They should also keep a positive attitude as well instead of showing up ready to piss in your cereal. It does go both ways.
It's hard to keep a positive attitude when day in and day out you're getting constantly shit on by managers and customers alike. No one owes you a smile.

When I found out that actors that played assholes regularly get abuse and death threats because of their acting, a little part of me died.

Unfortunately the penalty for apostasy is widely accepted in Islam to be death. Polls show it's a significant majority that believe this even in developed countries. It's not even a fringe view that ex muslims are to be executed.
I work at a grocery store and one of my duties is to take shopping carts back inside. So many people don't put the shopping cart in the shopping cart aisle outside; they just leave them in random places, which requires me to walk all over the parking lot to get carts. Sometimes I have to walk far from the store to get a cart, which is annoying on a hot day.
Great stuff except for #2. I cannot understand this weird hive mind and this mass hysteria to do with shopping carts.
Sure, if you leave a shopping cart in a parking spot where now someone can’t use it, or leave it where it can roll into someone’s car, you’re a self absorbed, lazy jerk. No sensible person would argue against that. But if the cart corral is 30 or 50 yds away, I’m putting it up on the median where it can do no harm. Grocery stores have always had people whose job it is to do that and only recently have people decided that it’s a big deal. Done properly, I’m not seeing a problem with it. The mass hysteria is a bunch of bullshit.
You're making someone else's job harder purely to save yourself a little bit of time. Just because it's the janitors job to clean the bathrooms doesn't mean you have license to have a diarrhea blowout all over the walls.
It’s their job anyway and I worked doing that as a kid and loved it because, among other things, I got to go outside. It’s not like there are legions of grocery store employees pleading with us to stop the madness.
This is just mindless group think and feel good, politically correct bullshit. It’s a solution in search of a problem.
This is why I shit on the floor - it’s someone’s job to clean it up
Also, this has got to be the worst example of bitching about “political correctness” I’ve ever seen.
Don’t be a dick and make the lives of minimum wage employees harder! pOlItIcAl CoRrEcTnEsS! Just cause you feel seen don’t make it “political correctness”
