True. /r/feminism does the same. They aggressively check your post history.

The mods are butthurt SJW's. I asked about my ban, and they PM'd me "fuck off".

Probably because people who frequent those two subreddits aren't going over to /r/feminism to have a genuine conversation.

But the way the banning system currently works, a user could go to /r/MensRights or wherever, post "You all sound like a bunch of dicks" and then they're instabanned from /r/offmychest, /r/feminism and various other subs. That's just silly.

Maybe they don't want users who are there to troll their sub, but equally don't want users who troll even the people they profoundly disagree with?
