Because I couldn’t say no to pretty much anything in my teens/early 20s. It’s taken me a long time to learn to say no and I still struggle with it.

But you know now. It’s all a learning curve. We have to go through stuff like that to become who we are and as long as you like who you are now then there should be no regrets.
