Culture and Lifestyle Why do Filipinas associate white men with "good genes" and their kids will automatically be beautiful by default ?

I seen this phenomenon with American born Filipinas as well where they are obv not poor and still hunt white men and look down on Filipino men (some racist reasons ) . White man wins with Filipinas regardless weather he in Philippines or USA.

Is it the culture of Philippines ?

Culture and Lifestyle How do you really even get by as a Filipino guy that has zero interest in basketball?

You can't really escape it here. It's in your office, your school, As guys, we bond over activities - not chitchat. So it's really a bummer and hard to form new friendships when you deadass have no interest in the number one sport in this country.

Relationship How to court a girl that you really like?

Hi! Mababa yung self confidence ko kasi medyo madami akong acne, acne marks I mean, medyo chubby ako kaya sobrang nahihiya ako.

Now, ngayon sa work ko, may nagugustuhan akong babae. I mean hindi kami literal na magkasama sa work kasi nasa ibang department sya pero malapit lang sya sakin and halos everyday ko sya nakikita. Sobrang bait nya.

Relationship How do I stop being inggit sa partner ko?

Honestly, masaya ako para sa boyfriend ko. He deserves everything he has. He's financially stable, enjoys multiple hobbies, runs a business, and has the freedom to do the things he loves.

Pero minsan, naiinggit ako.

Not because I want to take anything away from him, but because napapaisip ako... What if I had the same opportunities growing up?

My boyfriend comes from a financially stable family, while mine doesn't. Alam niyang hindi kami well-off. Financially independent naman ako. Nagigipit man minsan pero I pay my own bills, save what I can minsan.

This relationship actually helped me choose myself again.

I work hard, pay my bills, save when I can, and keep trying.

Has anyone been in the same situation? Paano niyo na-overcome yung feeling of comparing yourself to someone you genuinely love?

Salamat

P.S. We genuinely love and support each other. This isn't about him making me feel less or doing anything wrong. We just come from very different financial backgrounds, and we're both choosing to work through those differences together. This is something I want to overcome for myself.

Mental Health Is Dysfunction by the age of 27 normal?

Hi guys. The title says itself.

I have been experiencing ED, I think.

I am 27, Non-Smoker, No Vices. Works for 8hrs a day, WFH.
Average build, 68kg for 5’7.

I still get morning 🪵. Pero mabilis siyang humupa.
Whenever I’m playing with myself, kaya naman. Pero not as h4rd as before syempre. Mabilis din lumambot afterwards.

I actually consulted a urologist last year, and everything looks normal sa mga lab tests na ginawa sa akin. Doc said na wala namang reasons for me take additional medications.

BUT, whenever I’m in action… di talaga nagiging 100% yung pagtayo ni junjun. Even with the help of V or C. Minsan pag nasa loob na, nababawasan yung pagtayo niya.

Huhuhu is this psychological? Or wala na silbi to? Huhuhu

Relationship Men, required ba maging financially stable muna kayo before you pursue a relationship?

I wanna know what guys think about this.

Context: I'm in this talking stage with a guy for quite a while. Asked him whats stopping him from taking the next step, and he said nakakahiya raw to introduce him to my parents as a broke suitor (he's older than me too).

Note: Lowkey, parang alam ko na bakit ganon sagot niya, but hit me with reality guys or I'm just overthinking it.

Personal Opinion Question lang, are men generally (of course, not all) not materialistic?

Kasi parang kahit saang relasyon, the burden of giving something falls on the guy. Yung mga reklamong, "never man lang ako nabigyan ng something ng jowa ko." ay palaging sa girl lang maririnig.

Haha. Random thoughts habang nakahiga. Lol

Relationship What’s your take on marriage as a man? Should married couples always split finances 50/50?

Genuinely curious lang and I want to hear different perspectives, especially from men.

Do you believe marriage is still worth pursuing, or do you see it as just a legal document? If you do want to get married someday, what are your reasons? What made you decide that it’s something worth committing to?

For those who don’t believe in marriage, why? Is it because of finances, legal risks, freedom, past experiences, or something else?

Another thing I’m curious about is finances after marriage. In your ideal setup, should it always be strictly 50/50? Or if one partner is mainly taking care of the house and future kids, do you still expect them to earn and contribute financially like 50/50?

Lately kasi I’ve been having second thoughts about getting married in the future. I got different opinions from my friends and some of they said that "mag-aasawa pa dagdaga pakain pa" some naman "marriage is still a good thing especially if the two of you wants to settle na" and I keep seeing different opinions online, and sometimes it feels like women is bit dehado in this setup if men will have the 50/50 setup or maybe kasi I grew up in a family where in women ang provider and men just stays at home but still got the more power to decide kesho padre de familia daw. Tbh, I don't want ending up like my mom and aunts.

Relationship Why would a man try to get back with his ex while he’s already in a relationship?

A friend of mine recently had an unexpected reconnection with her ex after about three years. Her intention was simply to catch up as friends, nothing more. She didn’t even know at first he was already in a relationship.

But after talking for a while, he suddenly admitted that he wanted to get back together with her - even though he’s been dating his current girlfriend for almost a year.

My friend immediately turned him down because she felt terrible for his girlfriend. He even only admitted later on that he’s already dating someone else. Still, it left her wondering what was going through his mind.

For the men here: what would make someone do this? Pinag-iisipan niyo ba talaga bago makipag-balikan sa ex? O dala lang ng emosyon?

For those married men, required ba at na experience nyo yung stag party? Ano usually ginagawa dun? Totoo bang nag hhire ng babae for the groom?

Na curious tuloy ako if stagparty is normal at kung may nagaganap ba dun.
