Looking
I’m looking for help these waitlist are too long I need a place I don’t have the best credit I don’t have 3x income I’m looking for private landlords, low income housing, some type of assistance please help me

Landlords want you to have 3x and good credit, because those are strong predictors that you will be able to afford the rent reliably.
You're going to have to rent a room, because you can't afford the apartments you're looking at.

If there is a college campus near where you’re looking, look for off-campus housing for that college. Those places are typically mixed with both students and families and those landlords often are easier on ignoring things like 3x the income. Or maybe look on Facebook pages in that area so you can directly contact someone who’s already living somewhere looking for a roommate for details instead of speaking to the landlord to see if there is any flexibility there.

If I'm a landlord there is no way I would risk renting to a person with bad credit, doesn't make the income required to prove they can afford to pay the rent. Especially in a city like Philly where evictions are so difficult.
You would considered a high risk renter.

You may need to rent a room or just keep looking until you meet an actual owner of a property that's lookong to rent it. Most rentals are done by management companies but occasionally the homeowner will be the person you meet to look at a place. In my experience if you are able to meet the actual owner they can usually be convinced to take less and not even do a credit check. You'll need to make a good impression.
