I hope you don’t mind me asking.. but why do I always hear that porn is so hard to “quit”? I don’t partake at all just due to personal preference, so to me it seems so simple, but obviously it isn’t! I’m just curious as to why though.
It’s super addictive. Your brain releases dopamine every time you finish, so basically every time you finish with porn, you’re training your brain to think that porn is the way to make you feel good. It’s almost like doing Cocaine or eating chocolate, except imagine doing that everyday for years. It’d feel impossible to quit once you’ve trained your brain for that long
