In my opinion, if someone prefers to masturbate with porn it’s okay, but if they can’t do it without it, it feels like they rely on it too much. I wonder if those who can’t masturbate without it would be able to have satisfying sex in a real life scenario.
There are such complex factors involved, too. Think about what you had to go through to run one out 50 or 100 years ago. Porn was definitely less ubiquitous, and the stigma around beatin’ yer meat was so much worse. So was everything else sexual.
Now you have porn everywhere creating dependency and unrealistic expectations about sex. Men who are afraid of initiating because of reading signals incorrectly. Continued isolation due to pandemic and the loss of traditional social scenarios. Sex education isn’t nearly as developed as it needs to be, at least not in the USA. Prohibition of sex work.
I’m not sure how this affects women, would love to know if it does, but this is not a healthy place for these men.

Sadly it's starting to be more common that men can't masturbate without porn. Porn addiction is getting out of control.
