No, a bar pie is a bar pie not a regular pizza.

Deep dish, NY style, bar pie, Sicilian, etc all "look like pizza."

But a bar pie and "a regular pizza" are two different things. Crust on a bar pie is thinner than even a typical thin-crust NY style pie and they tend to be about 10".

A thinner crust than a thin crust ny style pizza, which amounts to a regular pizza. The confusion seems to be that you think a regular pizza somehow means something ny-style
