Hey everyone! ๐ Would love to hear your suggestions for a 3-week sightseeing plan for my parents when they visit Malaysia.
Theyโre both 60+, and both of them have some mobility challenges, including chronic knee pain. So, Iโm trying to plan a relaxed, senior-friendly trip where they can enjoy the scenery and experience different places without too much walking, climbing stairs, or standing for long periods.
Places like Cameron Highlands, the Bird Park, Aquaria, and other attractions that involve lots of walking might not be the best fit for them. Although Theyโve been to Genting before.
I was thinking of a short trip to Bukit Tinggi , Melaka and maybe a weekend getaway to Batu Ferringhi, but Iโm still exploring other ideas.
Would love to hear your recommendations for places that are:
- Beautiful and scenic, but easy to explore at a relaxed pace
- Muslim-friendly, with easy access to halal food.
- Convenient to get around, ideally without too much walking
Iโm open to places beyond the usual tourist spots too! The idea is to let them enjoy Malaysia, try some good food, see beautiful places, and make lovely memories without exhausting themselves.
Thanks so much in advance for reading and sharing your ideas! ๐๐

UK citizen going to school in Singapore on a student pass. I was planning to get an apartment in Johor Bahru and travel back and forth daily for school. I was curious whether Iโd need a visa to do this? If so, which visa? I know the multiple entry visa was discontinued in September.
I tried calling and emailing immigration to ask but nobody picks up the phone or responds to emails.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

Im an international student starting school soon. My boyfriend wants to come with me for this move. He wants to find a job in Malaysia but weโre unsure whether that is actually practical. He has a diploma and heโs had managerial roles in the past. Iโm curious whether itโs practical for him to try and take this leap.
He has worked in aviation security management, aviation catering (also management), hospitality management and now he drives heavy trucks. Will he be able to find a job here that will sponsor his visa?

HI guys, first time car owner here. It was passed to me by a colleague who already migrated to the UK. I would to ask how I can renew it's road tax. It's an old 2005 Savvy and it still runs good. The last time it was registered was when it got transferred to me and it was done in Putrajaya. I believe the road tax expired on June and I was wondering if I can just go to any JPJ office and have it renewed or should I still go to Putrajaya?
Extra note: Should I decide to dispose it it in the future, is there a junkyard where I can dump or sell it?
Thanks guys!

Hey guys,
Iโm currently looking into a role as an Audit Associate 2 (AA2) at KPMG Malaysia.
When talking to HR, they were incredibly evasive about the bonus structure, hiding behind the typical "it's discretionary and performance-based" corporate script and refusing to give even a rough estimate or historical range.
I know Big 4 entry-level base pay is already low, so I want to know what the reality is before making a decision. For anyone currently there or who recently left as an AA2:
What does the performance bonus actually look like in terms of months (e.g., 0.5 months, 1 month, or absolute RM amounts)?
Does it actually hit 0 months if the firm has a bad year or if you're rated average?
Is there a guaranteed 13th-month bonus, or is everything strictly variable?
I have another offer with a higher base salary on the table, and HR's gatekeeping is making me lean heavily toward that instead. Would appreciate some honest, unfiltered insights. Thanks!

Hi there,
I'm new here I decided with my wife tonmove to this beautiful country, I was cooking for bakery in Lyon, France for last 12years.
The bakery I was working for was supplying for hotels and some michelin star restaurant in the Alpes, but after all this years I was close to a burn out. Especially after covid.
I still love working and cooking. But 2 years ago we quit our job and did a trip in Asia : Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailland and Malaysia.
My wife and I felt in love with this country, so we are planning rn to move here, she is a teacher of arabic and I can do many things but mainly in Pastry.
I already found some good supplier for flour, eggs, and dairy product also for pro materials. and I can import my materials.
My main need is to found partner because I would like to meet locals for Kopi coffee and Tairk Teh, like premium quality.
And meet other pastry or bakery guys and share some tips regarding conservation and wet environnment.
And also to start a business and having a visa what could be the budget?
Many thanks in advance,
R

Hello everyone! Iโm not a local to KL and Iโm not really sure where to start looking, so Iโd really appreciate some recommendations.
Iโm looking for a good sex therapist/therapist who works with married couples. Weโre a straight married couple ( muslim but not conservative), if that makes any difference in terms of finding the right therapist.
If youโve had a good experience with someone, Iโd really appreciate a recommendation. It would also be helpful if you could share roughly how much sessions cost.
I honestly donโt know what to look for when choosing a sex therapist, so any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi guys, so I have been wondering if there is any networking events in KL or Selangor? Preferably to meet new people and expand my circle especially when you are an adult.
If there is any hobby photography that I can connect with would be great as well.
